His absence in pre-season tour is a clear indication he's not gonna stay no matter what Wenger says.
just sell the guy wenger! even if fabregas stays another year, the same thing will happen again because he will always want to return to his home club. Only difference keeping will mean less money for when he is sold.
sell him when he has the value, it is the best for both sides, if Wenger keeps Fabregas for another year, the Spaniach will just be homsicking and moan about how much he miss Spain.
just sell him for 35 mil, and use the $$$ to get another "tomorowo star".
sell him to bring in 2 quality players that can replace him!.. it will be sad to see him go but 2 new quality players doesnt sound bad either as long as they have the "quality" to match
hope he is coming to the best team in the world right now
haha
^ Haha? He enjoyed his time at Barca... he just wanted more time to play and a bigger challenge in the PL.
Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has claimed that Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is already "excited" about signing for Pep Guardiola's side.
Fabregas is embroiled in another long transfer saga involving his boyhood club Barca but they are still no closer to agreeing a fee with Arsenal for the 24-year-old.
Fabregas was not taken on the club's pre-season tour of Asia but manager Arsene Wenger insists it is because of a hamstring injury and that he is still confident of keeping the Spaniard in north London.
But now Valdes has claimed that the 2010 World Cup winner is already looking forward to returning to the Nou Camp.
"Cesc is excited about coming back here and I'd like that," the keeper said at the launch of his official website.
"His way of playing would mean he'd have no problems adapting and he'd bring a lot of quality."
