"UNITED ARE IN GOOD HANDS"

In an interview on an American television show, when asked about the current predicament Manchester United find themselves in at the moment, Sir Alex said, “I’m not interested in managing again or getting myself worked up about Manchester United’s results.”

He also went on to give his backing for new manager and fellow Scot,David Moyes. “United are in good hands with David Moyes. He will be fine. He’s a good manager. You would be throwing your money down the drain if you put any money on me coming back as a manager.”

As Sir Alex makes full use of his free time in retirement, he is content with life at the moment and does not see himself back in the hot seat at Old Trafford, “I made my decision. The timing was perfect. There is no way back for me now. I’ve got a new life.

He also revealed that Chelsea’s owner Roman Abramovich tried to bring him to Stamford Bridge a decade ago, but turned him down flat.

“They used an agent to approach me when Abramovich first took over the club and I said no chance.”

I trust Moyes. SAF knows what he's talking about. Never knew Abramovich tried to get SAF. No chance. ^^

What I don't understand is how can United be doing so poorly so far (even though it has been only 6 games), when its pretty much the EXACT same squad as last season, with the addition of Fellaini 00. And tbh, its not like SAF is going to criticise Moyes haha >\< really hope Moyes succeeds, United as a mid-table team is weird, and they don't belong there either #GiveMoyesTimeUnitedFans

p.s. it has only been 6 games

^ But their record so far is 4-2-3. You have to admit, by United's standard, that's pretty damn poor. :/

It was not like he was going to criticize him, Fergusson had to say that in order to support Moyes work because he was the one who put him there. Moyes is managing a team beyond his manager capacity. I dont usually complain this much about a manager so early in the season but I just don't see a promising future for United with him as our head coach...

@nanda: I get what you are saying...
When a team changes its manager for the start of a season such a big difference cant be seen this early because the previous manager's job is still reflecting on the team's performance. uunless the new manager is making some really big changes in many different areas of the team). A current EPL champion shoudnt be playing like this, no excuses.
