Unique signing announcements are football's latest trend

Extravagant summer signing announcements are football’s latest hot trend, here is a compilation of the announcements made this summer so far (courtesy of BBC):

Liverpool:

Liverpool fans would know how frustrating it is to wait for a player to be announced, even with all the hectic news circulating all over it, such as with the likes of Dele Alli, Sanchez, Willian and Van Dijk in the past few years. The club utilized the desperate social media madness to announce the arrival of Mohamed Salah from Roma:

Everton:

West Bromwich Albion:

Aston Villa:

Here’s my personal favorite, Aston Villa announcing John Terry’s arrival to the club with an imaginary WhatsApp group chat:

Crystal Palace:

CPFC took inspiration from the Vatican’s method of announcing a new Pope and used the smoke to announce the appointment of Frank De Boer as the club’s new manager, with a South London twist, a Caribbean take-away.

AS Roma:

Using FIFA 17:

Bradford City:

“From Serie A to League One, where Bradford City unveiled Paul Taylor in the way a Sunday league team might unveil their latest ringer five minutes before kick-off.”

I thought Aston Villa's was the lamest when I watched it for the first time. LoL.

@Emre

When was the last time Pepe recieved a red

Something tell me your becoming one of Pepe fan. :P But more seriously, its fair to say what you did, Pepe certainly started fixing his poor disciplinary problem in the last few year. Last time he lost it badly was in WC against Germany if I'm not wrong. :)

My favourite NT is actually Portugal, then Turkey and Netherlands. Therefore I was always a Pepe fan to be honest. Especially when he started fixing his poor disciplinary problem like you've stated. He was one of the top3 players in Euro 2016.

@Emrecan Ok, that explain a lots. :P It sure easier to appreciate him nowaday than back when he was managed by Jose. And for sure, he was one of the best player of Euro 2016 for me at least. Maybe even more important than Ronaldo at time. :)

Jesus Christ, Chelsea's announcement is pretty cringy. I've seen better acting in porn movies.

@alferroa To be fair, its not like they got the time or the desire to hire people to make it good. After all, football player aren't actor, well, they are, but only on the field. ;)

The "Ooh Thank You" and Rudiger's shaka sign killed me the first time I saw it.

I thought it was a good way to announce guys. Chelsea's announcement I mean. Just the acting makes it cringy :D But we are not looking for a TV show lol.

Here's is the worst one :D Mevlüt calls Chedjou wishes him a quick recovery and says something like "can't wait to play with you, we are on the same team now" LoL.
