Lol, love how they just exclude all the Atletico players. Jimenez, Koke, Filipe Luis...

Kos and Ramsey...look I respect Arsenal and all, but this is laughable. Even if we're going by the Euros alone, c'mon.
To be honest Allen deserves his spot. Yes there are other players better than him who haven't been nominated, but our saviour has been absolutely incredible this year.
goalies and forwards on point. Defenders and midfielders, half of them shouldn't be on the list...
Raphael Guerreiro is perfectly fine in this list. He was this year's best left-back without question. Özil should be there period, think that's a shame to the fantastic quality he has shown all year.
Ozil????
Rakitic???
Koke??
Filipe Luis???
Though the selection of the players is utter crap, I believe the EURO campaign took a heavy toll on the players performance. Rui Patricio, Joe Allen, Ramsay, they all performed well in the Euros, that's why they must have been selected. Basically it is UEFA, so Uefa Champions league performance and EURO is more than 70% than their respective league performance.
I am surprised why Rakitic is always left behind, he is Barca's most consistent Midfielder, he should be there alongside Ozil and Filipe Luis.
I agree with @rayrex because if this list is taking into account the league performance, it doesn't make any sense at all.
Sad to not see niether of Marcelo or Felipe very sad
@rayrex, gotta agree, Rakitic is most underrated Croatian player by far. Just taking in that he replaced Xavi is amazing. Few years ago nobody could even think anyone could replace Xavi.
@VAMOSBenfica, I mean he really is good and he is great prospect. But I don't believe wherever he played, he played better than Alaba or Luis.

Analysis: you may say things can change rapidly and results can be totally different in end, but this is very accurate. 2 million people already voted, I think that's enough for realistic predictions. So far Buffon is winning here pretty easily. Defence is highly unpredictable here, because you'll never know what kind of people will turn in here (usually people have different opinions about defenders). Ramos is leading by far - I won't comment that much, we know this is popularity contest already. There is place for Bonucci and Boateng, but 4th defender will either be Godin or Pique (which is also unbeliveable, Godin not winning like 50% in this). Seems like there won't be real fullback, it could happen if Carvajal gets support from people. Modric almost secured his place since there will be great fight for second and third place. 4th and 5th place (depends on formation choosed) will belong to BPL. Ronaldo and Messi are leading in forwards section, but Griezmann is coming very near Suarez. Could be anything at end.

Spread some N'Golove for Kante
@Croatian, I wouldn't take that too seriously as, as you say, it's mostly a popularity contest when general fans vote. Just look, Ramos tops(!) with 66 %, while Pepe has only 34 %. That alone tells you this voting is just plain dumb.
Ramos and Iniesta winning by sheer popularity alone.
Earlier today UEFA has published shortlist of 40 players that are nominated for getting place in TOTY XI. It is kinda suprising after all, many people are missing here. What's your opinion?
