Instead of red card + penalty, he gave corner kick when ball didn't even crossed the line.

Lol. That was all pure acting and stuff. It was clearly a dive. You should be happy that the slovakian striker didnt get a card for diving. And the way how the slovakian coach behaved was childish and dumb. And yes the ball did cross the line after the slovakian player dived and fell on the floor the ball kept on rolling forward.

Well his fell after the tackle made it look a bit suspicious indeed, like another step. If the ref thought it was a dive then it should be a yellow, not a corner. That's inconsistent.

When something like this happens, people often associate the wrong stuff to UEFA and they have only themselves to blame because of all silly thing they do...

Agree with tuan_jinn. His foot did get clipped but then the lad decided to put the twist and roll in after, hence the ref thought "Robben". Thought the coach was going in for the left hook for a few secs. Not a bad volley either.

It was probably not evident for the ref to give the penalty, but he has two choices since he stopped the action, giving a yellow for diving or a penalty, giving a corner is clearly absurd.

^ Yes i would. But atleast Ronaldo can act very well to get a penalty. That slovakian striker was terrible at diving.

That was a foul. There was indeed contact, but the Slovak made too much of it. If you're going to fall when you're nicked on the foot, do it convincingly. You don't roll around like that after being nicked while running. Fall on your knees or just lump to the ground and ask for the penalty. What made the referee think it wasn't a penalty was the unconvincing fall.
