 Fenerbahce v Benfica
 and FC Basel v CHELSEA.

Matches to be played on 25th April and 2nd May.

I'd love Fenerbahce to win it, because of Kuyt :-D

basel are very strong, you know better than me how this egyptian player is talented... salah was awesome against tottenham but the experience is with the blues... and playing the 2nd game in stamford bridge will be the key. i expect chelsea - Benfica in the final. Benfica played most of games without rodrigo and cardoso in the starting, they will surely need them on the pitch to get throught....

Amazing player, I watched him in the first leg for Tottenham vs Basel. He was beast. :)

@V you should've been on the tallkroom yesterday & watched the match. It was very good.
ALSO, you are wrong if you think Basel is the weakest side in this competition. For me, it is clearly Fener.

@Fru_Toot: uh, no. His mother is Italian (i.e. he is half-Italian) and he spent most of his life in Italy so I completely understand. It's his choice and he has a closer affinity to the Italians.

Not the same situation at all Fru_Toot. If I'm not mistaken his parents were both Ghanaian, making him of 100% Ghanaian descent and he was fostered in Italy and grew up in an Italian family so that is why he feels Italian and plays for their team. It seems to me that he feels rejected by his biological parents and has tried to shun that part of his life while being appreciative of the love that his Italian parents & country showed him. So, he has tried to return the affection.

I see it like this: Chelsea > Fenerbahce > Benfica > Basel

But of course Basel is always up for a surprise. But normally Chelsea should have no problem to qualify for the final.

I wanted Spurs to win it but now lets gooo Chelsea!

English teams have tried to knock out Basel, and they've failed in both their last two tries (Man United, Spurs). They do say that third time's the charm, so maybe Chelsea can do the trick this time around... ;)

Anyways, I find the Semis great! Would love to see Benfica vs. Chelsea in the final! <3
