A and F, the groups of death, every team has a chance....

I feel strongly suspicious though. This is the third year in a row Barcelona face AC Milan. Second year in a row they are in a group with Celtic.

Second time in three years that Arsenal, Marseille, and Dortmund are in the same group.

Madrid face Gala again.

Second time in 3 years Bayern are in the same group as City.

And Chelsea already faced Basel and Steaua last season, no?

It just feels slightly ridiculous that this is happening.

Group A ia definitely the Tough One, for me. Lots of potential for slip-ups and upsets, there.

Baptism of fire, Moyes. Let's see how you hold up!

@Gunner: yeah, I think Arsenal actually have one of the easier groups to manage. They should be too classy for Marseilles, should edge out Napoli, and BVB will actually want to play football against them, so, anything could happen.

@Lo, I think Napoli will be tough for Arsenal. Going head to head against a manager who knows Arsenal well (Benitez) will not be easy.

its always hard to guess since there are always bound to happen things you dont expect every year but here is mine:

teams in italic doesn't have a realistic chance imo (but still everything can happen i know, it would be a huge sensation)

Group A (group of death)

  1. Real Sociedad(ESP)
  2. Leverkusen(GER)
  3. Man. United(ENG)
  4. Shakhtar Donetsk(UKR)

Group B

  1. Real Madrid(ESP)
  2. Juventus(ITA)
  3. Galatasaray(TUR)
  4. København(DEN)

Group C

  1. Benfica(POR)
  2. PSG(FRA)
  3. Olympiacos(GRE)
  4. *Anderlecht(BEL)**
    • Group D

  5. Bayern(GER)
  6. Man. City(ENG)
  7. CSKA Moskva(RUS)
  8. Plzeň(CZE)

Valencia, Sweden 181 2500

Group E

  1. Chelsea(ENG)
  2. Schalke(GER)
  3. Basel(SUI)
  4. Steaua(ROU)

Group F (group of death)

  1. Dortmund(GER)
  2. Marseille(FRA)
  3. Napoli(ITA)
  4. Arsenal(ENG)

Group G

  1. Atlético(ESP)
  2. Zenit(RUS)
  3. Porto(POR)
  4. *Austria Wien(AUT)**
    • Group H

  5. Barcelona(ESP)
  6. Milan(ITA)
  7. Ajax(NED)
  8. *Celtic(SCO)*

The russian teams are outsiders, they have high market value teams, but will they get them to work as a team and not fail like previous years, if so CSKA has a chance of advancing despite a tough group and Zenit has a chance of winning the group.

Then i dont get why Leverkusen is a good draw that some have stated, they finished 1p behind BVB in the league last season and are looking better this season. Sociedad in the same group can make magic if they keep their form.

Marseille people are underrating but they are in pot 2 for a reason and they have maybe the groups best defense and the offence has been hugely improved to this season, last season they won almost all their games 1-0

I just find you unnecessarily hate on English teams, particularly Spurs. But whatever, it's not my problem.
