people in this thread is extremely PL-horny imo, but what do i expect in an english forum. Predict that an English team will not make the group stage in a group with immense competition, aaaaaannnndd im an hater...
grow the fuck up! did sky sports pay you to think or what?
What the hell?
What 7-0?In the competitions winners i have told that Bayern will win it again and you told me that i put them second because the 7-0?
@Lodatz
I Put them 2nd because team has no chemistry and they will make some time to get.
Guardiola wants to make a few changes that need time to be applied from Bayern players.
If you have watched their games till now you will know.
Bayern has not anymore the "easy goal" they had last year! They still have the ball almosto all time on their feet (about 70%) they still create 20+ chances but they have a problem at scoring!Probably because of gomez?Probably because pep doesnt use his CF as a target man but he want him to contribute in more game phases.
Of course even now they dont have problem to win against a few german sides but that difficulty on scoring goals is easy to be noticed if you have watched their games and compare them to last year.
Plus that pep hasnt decided what type of CDM he will use.Once he use Thiago(dafuq),Schweini and Javi Martinez.2 of the 3 are now injured!
Also,i expect a different Manchester City at group stages this year! They have a perfect squad and i am sure that they can finish over Bayern.I think we discussed the rest things for city on the talkroom during City vs Newcastle.
As for Real Madrid now,i put them 2nd because of Juve.
Juventus has a too strong side and i expect them to win all their 3 Home games.Real madrid have never won or even got a draw against Juve in Italy and always are in trouble when they have to face them.
Real Madrid has never won in turkey too.
Though, those reasons seem to be unimportant i have to add that Real Madrid has not convinced anyone till now.
They hardly score, they have serious problems at defence to deal with and they have a new coach that wants to add new things in Real madrid's game and this wont be that easy for RM players to do it in such a short time.Unlike Juventus that have the same coach, the same team full of chemistry for 3 years now and of course after finding a solution to their most important problem last year: Quality Strikers!
I want to add that i will also put Barcelona 2nd if we had Juventus in our group.for all the reason i told above for Juve plus that we still have a lot room for improvent like RM and Bayern and i think that these 3 teams will be at their best from February and then.
What room for improvement do Real have?
@Rama
Well, our biggest problem right now is,
Our defense
The solution to 1) IS Ancelotti. Being Italian and very defensive-minded, we hoped that he would enhance our defense. But we still need work. Varane is probably the best defender on our team, and he is injured. Ramos and Pepe are both quite unreliable in some circumstances. Marcelo has been brilliant so far, and Carvajal is still getting used to La Liga. Us RM fans hope that Varane's return could improve our defense drastically.
The solution to 2) is what Perez believes is Gareth Bale. He intends to use Bale as a striker, because of Benzema's terrible finishing. In Madrid's first two games against Betis and Granada, Benzema DID score, but he could have easily scored a hat-trick. I don't know what is wrong with the boy. It was just pure bad luck to us that all those chances didn't fall for Ronaldo, who was mostly forced to take shots from distance.
BUT, if we do get Bale, I want Benzema OUT. There is no need for an extra striker, and I want Alvaro Morata to get more time. He is extremely promising.
Fair enough,

Group H:

2. Barcelona
^ Why do you think that we will come second to Milan? Last year we beat them, and we finished top in our group when we faced Celtic. Also, Ajax will probably seel Eriksen and Alederwireld has gone to Madrid...
For the top two prediction of Group H, its just a hunch. As for the bottom two, while Ajax will probably sell Eriksen, they wont sell Alderweireld to Atletico because they rejected it. Meanwhile, Celtic have sold Hooper and Wanyama; one of their best players. Ajax still have a ton of talent in their squad whereas Celtic are on the decline with whats going on in the Scottish League.
1- Alderweireld set to join Atletico Madrid
Atletico Madrid
have reached an agreement with Ajax over a €7 million transfer fee for
Toby Alderweireld and the Belgium international is set to sign a
four-year deal upon completion of his medical. Source: De Telegraaf
^If it's true then good for Atletico but that's not enough to make Ajax finish last place in Group H.

@Knibis Why the hell are Arsenal 4th? If Arsenal get third, then Napoli is getting 2nd, if Arsenal get 2nd then its Napoli for 3rd. You have poor judgment over Arsenal and I understand that (a little), other than that since when is Marseile going to over power Arsenal AND Napoli?! WTF
@Don: I see your reasoning; I can buy that about the strikers, certainly. Time will tell if Guardiola's tactics pay off for a team whose pace and power were their main attributes last year.
knibs hating ;p lol jk
@Knibis i dont hate any league, the only teams i hate (not really hate) are in the EPL, because of my team
I predict that I'm going to be doing a lot more drinking this season...
What sh*t luck. We landed the worst possible opponents in the 3rd and 4th pot. The only pot we got anything good from is the 2nd and even then, Marseille is building an excellent young team.
wow group f is so hard!!! its like a repeat of the 2011/2012 group of Arsenal except Napoli replaces olympicaos. Hopefully we'll make 2nd or even 1st!!!
I dont think a English team will win the CL. Because they dont have the quality for it.
fuck you knibis
