So I've noticed that Arsenal need only 2 wins out of our next 4 games to secure 3rd place.
I honestly don't care about getting 2nd place (although we're practically ahead of City). Anyone knows what second place might give us extra? Other than a little bit of more money?
Anyway, what do you guys think of this season for Arsenal ?( given that we win Fa and get 3rd place/2nd place)
It's been a very good year for us, the only pitfall is the loss to Monaco. I think if we lose early in CL next year we need a change in coach. I love Wenger but he's lost his champion trait imo.

I think Arsenal need a decent center back, leftback, a goalkeeper and a top class striker and they can really challenge for the title...

Why is everyone saying we need a goalkeeper? Ospina has been perfect, or maybe it just look like that because Szczesny did a lot of mistakes. Yea, he's not as good as De Gea but he is really good imo.
New left back would be vital but I don't see Wenger buying a new one, Gibbs/Monreal are far from top class.
About striker, I don't see Wenger buying anyone new too, maybe if Walcott wants once again higher salary, while he wasn't even playing for a year, I would sell him. Would like to have someone like Benzema upfront.

^ agreed. a solid DM, world class striker ( i think cavani or benzema will suffice) and 1 CB.

Considering the last few years, ( IF ) we win the FA Cup again & get the 2nd/3rd position, it would be another progress made, so in that sense it would be succesful season. But obviously it isn't.

I hope so much that Wenger knows what to do in the summer to make sure Arsenal would be challenging for BPL & UCL, 'cause those 2 are seriously main priorities.

Uh, I'm not so sure about Cavani. He's hasn't been the same since he left Napoli. As for Benzema, Madrid aren't going to let him go next summer. You guys actually have a better shot at getting Bale than Benzema, haha.

Cavani has been really bad every time i was watching PSG this season. And our only hopes of getting Benzema is if Real will pay insane money for Aguero.

i just love Cavani's poaching skill for the ball. we need an aggressive target man up front. many rumours kept linking us towards higuain though.

I rather stay with what we have and maybe try to sign Dybala instead of Higuain or Cavani.

Why do people think we need a good DM? I think we just need a backup DM ( flamini is not so good) and striker+CB.
Also don't understand why we need a goalkeeper? Ospina is very good and scz is a good enough backup keeper

i play poldi over giroud anytime dude but not wenger. he love that guy too much. we could do much better with a more LETHAL striker. we got the flow on midfield. just the finishing arent connecting.

Arsenal needs khedira, dybala and motivation. Simple as that. Khedira is a possible transfer and so is Dybala, however they need a spark to keep their hopes, literally its like in most matches they give up before the game

Poldi is not better than Giroud mate. We failed today miserably again. Pathetic performance, if United beats us we can again enjoy 4th place.

Arsenal have a bunch of decent players and a few great players, but in order to be anything else than 4th or 3rd place in the premier league you guys need top class players. A striker, another cb, a decent cdm... Khedira should do just fine for the team and ffs let Girud have some bench, he is a decent striker but you need a beast player in that position.

Coquelin is great mate, we conceded when he was subbed off. As a CB I hope we will finally Gabriel instead of Mertesacker. We are just playing tiki-taka which is dead 2 years. We don't have Messi who can rip enemy defence.
And for Walcott, he wants higher salary but he hits lying goalkeeper from 11 meters when no one is attacking him. Giroud was invisible for the 3rd game in a row. Ramsey was horrible too, I would bench these 2..

Im just saying you need depth and a little more quality in defense. That and a good striker can help Arsenal a lot. You guys might be interested in Falcao :) or give poor Campbell or Sanogo some chance to shine.

Haha, we actually struggles upfront since we don't have someone who got the pace and who can create something alone, like Aguero.

every good team needs a great striker, not just a decent one. Chelsea got Costa and worked out perfectly without being the best striker in the world. Guys like Bacca, Dost, Icardi or Lacazette could really help Arsenal. If you dont get any of this guys in the next transfer market then Arsenal is doomed to end in similar places as this season.
