btw.. i heard that RVP wanna leave Manchester United because he's not a candidate to be the captain for next season.. is it true? heard rumours about chelsea wanting to buy mario mandzukic for 20 mil ++.. also, Real madrid preparing a bid near to 60 mil euros for Paul Pogba.. anyone know anything regarding these transfers?

Zanetti tore his Achilles tendon in a Serie A match v Palermo in April 2013. He was out for 6 months. Back in squad against Livorno in nov 2013. In and out of starting. Mostly coming on as a sub or not coming on at all but still in squad. He started in derby v Milan which we won 1-0 :). Last game he played and started was against Udinese on 09/01/2014 when we lost in Coppa Italia.. He's been an unused sub in the last 7 games.
Mazzarri doesn't want to push him too hard an risk another injury.. Zanetti's presence is very important for the squad whether or not he plays. But I'm sure he will play and start more games before the end of season. People forget IL Capitano is 40 years old even though he doesn't look a day over 35. We haven't lost a game in Serie A when he has played this season.
