Looks like a decent player to me, but why a winger, do they plan to play bale more centrally perhaps.

Does anyone here know how good he is and can give us a report on his season with Twente?

Nacer Chadli ,25 years old, Belgium, Twente, apps league 70 since 2010, goals 23, Goalscoring per 0.3, very good stats for a winger.

He looks pretty nifty to me, and for that price, we haven't broken the bank. Of course, he's not a superstar signing, but we don't really have the budget for that, so this looks like a really good bit of business for Tottenham. :)

And @Fred: yeah, I believe that is the plan. Or, have Bale on the right in a 4-3-3, with one of our strikers in the centre. Either way, with Bale's new roaming role, we (perhaps surprisingly) do need some new wingers.

I think they may put Bale up front... good signing for Tottenham!

Yeah, glad to read that, Vertonghen, Dembele and now Chadli. He's a good player, hope he'll be even better by joining the EPL.
