Found on wikipedia this one:
"Liverpool however pulled out of the transfer after he failed his medical with the club."
How he failed medical at Liverpool and suddenly signing for Chelsea?

@Wolfie: And despite his horrible time with us, we will never forget him for his contribution in our CL and EL winning seasons. And the ManCity late goal. Thanks for those, Torres.

Also, #ForzaMilan, Chelsea's savior.

Lolz, I actually like him and noone can deny his contribution... but he has been off form for too long, he has become some kind of absolute joke... may be in Milan he will be reborn? Anyway, I dont get what the hell is Milan's management board thinking...

I think Chelsea fans should show a little more respect for this guy. He was criticized throughout the entire time he had that Blue jersey on, but he never said anything bad about the club. He knew he was being criticized, and acknowledged his weaknesses and lack of form. He was a classy player, one that respected the club and the fans, and should be respected likewise. We all agree that his performances were not up to scratch at all, and he agrees as well, so I hope that we can all wish him good luck at Milan.

@dynastian98

I always backed him up and never criticize him harshly . So were at least 90% of club fans who have supported him , and never crossing the line like singing bad things or boo him during the match ( like cough cough some club from Spain ) . At stamford bridge fans still sang his name even if he scored one goal after long two or three months .

However, there is a limit to everything . We are big club and having a player who can't even make descent shot in preseason match against some unknown team is intolerable anymore. Even his teammates , I am sure were growing frustrated , and it was visible how they were reluctant to give him ball .

@Dynastian: No offense, but what do you know about Torres' relationship with the Chelsea fans? We have never once disrespected him or hated him. We might call him shit sometimes, but that's what you say when you're player really is shit. What are you supposed to do? Say it's okay, there's always next time for every game in the past 3 seasons? We eventually got tired of his horrible performances and began criticizing him, but we're not doing it because we hate him. Every fan does this to one of their players, but they still respect them, a ton of respect just for wearing our shirt with a brilliant worth ethic. Managers probably do the same with players not performing well. We know full well he gave 100% all the time and that he was a Blue for all these years despite not having too many good moments. That's why it's better for both parties to separate now and for us to be left with fresh memories of his CL and EL contributions.

Just like Dyna said. This guy gave everything he had for Chelsea, he scored many important goals even though he was the most hated player of the squad for his entire staying. In the end it was the move to Chelsea what ended up ruining his career, if he had stayed at Liverpool he would had continued to be one of the best strikers in the world.
