TOP SIGNINGS OF THE SEASON 2015/2016

Real Madrid, Croatia 26 797

Its almost the end of the seasons, and a lot of players should their worth, some didnt, some showed more than we even expected!

I would like to know everyones top 10 signings of the year where the top 3 should be well elaborated. You should include performance wise-cost-etc.

1-Douglas costa
2-Cech
3-Kingsley coman
4-Di maria
5-Vidal
6-Casemiro
7-De bruyne
8-Dybala
9-Firminio
10-Cuadrado/Martial

Honourable mentions: Shweni, Bacca, Luiz Adriano, Son, motta.

Honestly, bayren were excellent in this season transfer market. Costa was their main man since the beginning and Coman was spectacular as well. no need to mention anything for vidal, his perfomrnace is enough to speak for it self.

Cech has really helped Arsenal a lot, if not for their defence, they wouldnt have conceded that much goals, his performance against bayren should be remembered.

Martial and De bruyne.

De Bruyne probably brought about the most change and had the biggest effect. Costa, Dybala, Vidal, and Casemiro would be a close second to me.

Casemiro, Carasco, Savic, Konoplyanka, Payet, Ben Arfa, Lassana Diara as a possible addition but the list looks good.
Oh Draxler and Schirle as well.

De Bruyne . As soon as he got injured , we noticed change in dynamics of the team and drop of performance . He came back and City again bossing .

Also Douglas Costa . Amazing surprise player . Both purchases are top for me .

Peter Cech was obviously great buy !

KDB with Costa were for me probably the best ones. Dybala, Martial, Coman, Vidal and Cech as well.
The list is long, but I think Bayern did best on the market.

Easy.
Dybala and Debruyne tied for first.

Dybala - prodigy, already a superstar and hasn't even fully reached his potential. 2nd top goal scorer in the serie a. scored a goal in the first game vs Bayern, so that they stood a chance in the second leg. Especially impressive because he entered a team which had lost vidal and tevez. He had tremendous shoes to fill and he did not disappoint. Next season will be very impressive. Also earned his first team call up to the Argentina team. Will also be captaining the argentina team at the Olympics.

Debruyne - great signing, immediate impact. Currently taking the team to champions league semi final, something the club has not seen before. Without his goals they would not be headed to the champions league glory.

These are the 2 signings that have had the most impact. And the teams they represent would be not be in the place they are now without them.

Honourable mentions:

Douglas costa - great potential, surprisingly pacey. - the Bayern team would have been in the same position now, with or without him.
Martial - great signing, (he is overpriced though), great impact, leading the charge towards fa cup glory. --- but no top 4 place, no champions league, no Europa league

No one has mentioned it above me, but the best buy is easily N'Golo Kante

De Bruyne is easily the best high-profile signing of the year. Costa is close as well.

Martial's signing was so out of the blue and risky yet paid off so handsomely I have to give props to that.

Tbh, Son was really underwhelming. He was so good for Bayer I was expecting him to replace Lamella and tear up the PL and he just...didn't.

@Sunflash Well, then again, Son is not bad in the BPL, Lamela is just better right now. He still a pretty good sub though and he still the only spurs player who could score against BVB (I know that doesn't mean much but hey). Beside, he been great for the moral of the team, it seem everybody like him. Martial is really good and was a necessary transfer for United to me, I just think its a bit annoying for you guys you had to pay this much for him. I hope he stay at Manchester for a long time and keep on improving.

@Eden17 Its good of you to mention Kante, he have been really good for Leicester this year.

@rayrex7 I agree with you, Bayern is really the team who seem to have made the best signing, Douglas Costa have been very solid for them and he link up well with Muller and Lewandoski. Muller even said the following after their win when it was still early in the season:

Thomas Muller said Douglas Costa is "tailormade" for him and Robert Lewandowski as the Brazilian winger helped Bayern Munich beat Mainz 3-0 to maintain their 100 percent start to the season.

That just show how much he is apreciated by his fellow player and this just ad to his amazing skill. I also agree that Coman and Vidal have been really good for Bayern as well, they are one of the main reason Bayern made it to the semis of the CL. Another very good signing this year that you already mentionned is Cech, he has been so good for Arsenal this year, a freaking wall, I say.

@Gonzi Dybala have been really solid for Juventus and he is still so young, he is really impressive and will no doubt be a important player in the future for both Argentina and Juventus (or any team he end up joining). De Bruyne is just as impressive for City, he sure was costy but he easily proved he was worth every penny, like Coman and Vidal for Bayern, he is one of the reason City managed to go so far in the CL. For me, he is one of the best transfer in the BPL this year.

yeah, for me, Kante easily tops the list. De Bruyne's a fantastic player, but he was way too expensive for his own good. Kante costed only 8 million and he played a clinical part in bringing Leicester the title (yeah, I've said)

I said it before

In this thread:
http://footyroom.com/forum/football-talk/most-over-paid-vs-under-paid-transfer-cies-report-2015-71553/1/

My opinion has not changed. He was one of the most effective players and deserves to be the first on this list.
2nd: Costa

@saatvik you're right, i totally forgot about chicharito, he's been really impressive for Bayer also. He's been killing it and is up there on the bundesliga top scorers chart
