Title race is still ON! Liverpool 0-2 Chelsea

Maybe with this match, Mourinho's mind changed everything in EPL. Liverpool are still the favourite side but we can not say 'Liverpool are the Champions' yet. Last matches of top 3 teams :

Liverpool : Crystal Palace(A) - Newcastle Utd.(H)

Chelsea : Norwich(H) - Cardiff(A)

ManCity : Crystal Palace(A) - Everton(A) - Aston Villa(H) - West Ham(H)

Possibilities : Anything Can Happen

Thoughts ?

Liverpool are still the favourite side? Manchester City have it in their own hands so obviously now City are the favourites.

about Mourinho, i'm gonna paste what i wrote in the highlights:

"Mou is a great coach, but call him genius for this match, no. here he only had to manage the advantage gently handed by the Reds. he took the gift and sat back, as good 'ol Mou. Liverpool looked like headless chickens in lot of situations, they played nice football, good passing, but boy, SO many mistakes. who's the guy who missed that corner at 92'? i'd bench him till the end of the season."

i think Liverpool can still make it, Chelsea will be there tho' and they will not miss one single beat.

@Wayne

what did you write in the other thread? couldn't read it.

City will drop points . What I am worried about is if Liverpool will drop points ? We need another 3 points drop to win the title , so it is all In Liverpool's hands .

I am just proud and confidently can say that Chelsea is best team in England and if Liverpool wins , it will be pity .

Many say Gerrard never won EPL and he deserves it , but we also have players who never won EPL . Torres for example who may leave in summer and still has not tasted the glory of EPL title . :))

@shpalman Yeah, I noticed that now. I was gonna say " we can continue from your thread" but it has been deleted I guess. About your 2nd comment: You are probably right but I wasn't saying that about Mourinho only for this match :) he is already genius :D
@Dephased Yes for me it's Liverpool. I see it's ManCity for you. Like I said Anything can happen.

@Marcus If you dont win the title you are not the best team in England.

Marcus has a great point. Gerrard deserves the title in Liverpool for his loyalty. Torres played in several teams but we can not say he doesn't deserve it, he deserves it too :) My opinion for this year is with Gerrard.

No player "deserves" the premier league if they dont win it. By the loyalty logic players like Shola Ameobi also deserves a league medal cause they are loyal club legends.

No they are not, they are not top of the league, hence hasnt been the best team so far this season.

Dephased has a point there... But anyways no team deserves the title unless they win it, and about who'll win the league I think it'll be liverpool , city will lose points against Everton..

Really hope either Chelsea or City wins. Preferably Chelsea.

@Emre

yep i asked for deletion as it was redundant.

best tactics exposed today were: at 72' amazing double cramp skill, 2 players fall at the same instant (because just one is too mainstream) while Mou half smiling mimics to give indications at the border of the pitch. it got them good 4 min break. the other amazeballz play was by can't remember who, at 90' in the moment of playing a throw-in, chelsea player skillfully stops the game, drinking water from a bottle while comfortably holding the ball like he wasn't even there but witht he crowd watching the match.

reality is that José Mário dos Santos Mourinho Félix is the nom de plume of: Giuseppe Murino, italian fella from around Naples.

that explains it all.

Dephased,
You think it's easy for City to win at Everton ?
and you're saying that the best club in England is the title winner?
Man, please, Chelsea is the only competitive English team in CL for past years.
Chelsea beat every big club in England this year.
A+B = Chelsea is the best english club.

@man_utd it will be very difficult... Liverpool won't lose any points now...(I think)

Brilliant tactical display from Mourinho. Soaked up the Liverpool attack that has been so deadly this season, and hit them on the counter to take advantage of their pathetic defense. This is why Brendan Rogers should've taken care of his team's defensive problems earlier on in the season.

I'd just like to point out that Tomas Kalas had a fantastic debut, and against an in-form Liverpool to boot. Sure he made some mistakes but he is very young and his errors are heavily outweighed by his positive contributions today.

Also, Azpilicueta was awesome once again. My CFC player of the year for sure.

City may end up snatching the title on goal difference. I don't really care who wins though, as long as the title race goes into the final day.
