True but on the other hand, Liverpool didn't win the EPL before, unless you count the black and white 1st division when so many things happened in the past that things weren't competitive rather than politics. so I wouldn't mind Liverpool finally winning 1 rather than having City collecting more and more trophies.

Same, diversity keep the league interesting. If City win another one, people will accuse the pl of becoming same as Ligue 1 or Serie A (hopefully, it will never be as bad in term of diverse league winner :P).
