Amazing player profile Dynastian, and what a player. It made me read it all and watch the videos too.
Thanks Eden. :)
Very good work Dynast, he will probably beat Santillana, Di Stephano and Raul Goal scoring records.
He still needs 71 goals to beat Raul (323 goals), i think he will achieve it in less than 2 seasons...
Today, 5 years ago, I cried; and started hating RM :'(
Great profile btw.. This is what makes me realise I am so lucky to have lived while this guy played football.
Great work, Dynast. :)
Thank you, thank you. +1 for all of you. :)
Very nice work mate. :)
Which season do you think he had the best? I think it was this season.
Great work, but nothing about Lisbon or Man Utd? +1
@Rama
It's because I didn't make a Player Profile on him. I'm doing mine on Don Alfredo, and I will do it (like everyone else) after the WC. I just posted this here because I had an urge to praise the man who might just be our greatest ever player (behind Alfredo). :)
@Emrecan
I think that, as a player, his 2011-12 season was the best, but he didn't win the trophies to match it. This season is second-best from him in terms of entertainment and performances, but he won two trophies. Looking forward to next season now. We have a chance to win 5 in one season if we win the Supercopa, Super Cup, and the Club World Cup next season. :D

This deserves more recognition, I think the title may have put some people off.
I took time to write this, so I hope you enjoy. :)
Real Madrid had completed a then-record deal for Cristiano Ronaldo with Manchester United. The Portuguese superstar had finally completed his childhood dream of playing for Los Blancos. An 80 Million Pound move saw Ronaldo join a new-look Real Madrid, with the "second coming of Los Galacticos" saw Fiorentino Perez spend heavily on Kaka, Benzema, Alonso, Albiol, and Arbeloa upon his return.
2009-10
Cristiano started off his 1st season with Real Madrid against Deportivo La Coruna, and capped it off with a debut goal from the penalty spot, and went on to be the first Madrid player to score 4 goals in his first 4 La Liga games. However, his first season in Madrid did not go as planned. Ronaldo suffered an ankle injury, and was out for a big part of Madrid's campaign. Real got knocked out of the Copa del Rey by a measly Alcorcon in the Round of 32. Even after topping their group in the Champions League, Madrid saw themselves get knocked out immediately in the Round of 16 by Lyon. With La Liga the only competition left, Madrid failed to win that as well, losing to Barcelona by 3 points. Ronaldo's first two Clasicos ended in disappointment, and the only consolation was that Ronaldo and Higuain became Real Madrid's then-highest ever scoring league duo, with 53 goals to their name.

2010-11
2010-11 saw Jose Mourinho arrive at the club, as Madrid tried to finally dethrone Barcelona with the man who won the Champions League just the season before. Mourinho strived to change Real's playing style. Known as a manager with a defensive approach, Jose was forced to change his own philosophy to make sure Madrid both win and entertain. Ronaldo excelled in Jose Mourinho's new rapid-fire counter-attacking system, and the creative talents of new arrivals Mesut Ozil and Angel di Maria helped him on his way. Real were hammered in their first Clasico against Barcelona 5-0, and looked to improve on that result as 4 Clasicos came up in the month of April within 17 days. Ronaldo scored in two of those Clasicos (a league draw of 1-1, and the ET winning header in the Copa del Rey final). However, Madrid lost a controversial tie 3-1 on aggregate against Barcelona, leaving Ronaldo disappointed again in his Champions League campaign. His goal tally, on the other hand, improved greatly as he finished with La Liga's Pichichi award and the European Golden Shoe. He also became the first player to score against every La Liga team in one season.

2011-12
Ronaldo started off his campaign in 2011-12 with a goal against Barcelona in the Supercopa loss (5-4 on aggregate), and with a hattrick against Real Zaragoza in his first La Liga match of the season. During this season, Ronaldo reached 100 goals with Real Madrid in La Liga in just 92 games, making it a Spanish record (the previous record was held by Ferenc Puskas). Ronaldo bowed out of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals against Barcelona after scoring 2 goals in a 4-3 aggregate loss, and became the first player in any European league to scored 40 goals in consecutive seasons after his hattrick against Atletico Madrid. Madrid reached the semi-finals of the Champions League once again, and their tie against Bayern went to penalties, with Ronaldo involved in all three goals in the tie (3-3 tie, Ronaldo scored 2 and assisted 1). However, Ronaldo's penalty was saved by Manuel Neuer, and Bastian Schweinsteiger scored the winning penalty to knock Real out of the competition at the same stage once again.
Ronaldo had one more chance at winning a trophy, and this came in the form of the Clasico at Camp Nou. Real led Barcelona on the table by 4 points, and a Barca win would result in Real's title challenge collapsing. Tied at 1-1 after goals from Alexis Sanchez and Sami Khedira, Ronaldo received a magnificent through ball from Mesut Ozil, and shot the ball past Victor Valdes to score the winning goal of the game. Real would go on to win La Liga by a record 100 points, and Ronaldo finished as the second-highest scorer (behind Leo Messi) with 46 goals.

2012-13
This season proved to be a poor one for both Real and Ronaldo. Ronaldo had contract disputes with Fiorentino Perez, as he stated he was "unhappy for professional reasons". Real made a miserable attempt to protect their title, but lost to Barcelona by a record 15 point margin. Unsettled nerves and disputes in the dressing room with Jose Mourinho resulted in a number of the clubs' top players falling out with the manager, including Ronaldo. Ronaldo faced his previous club Manchester United in a Round of 16 clash in the Champions League, and although Madrid won controversially, Ronaldo scored 2 goals in Madrid's 3-2 aggregate victory. His refusal to celebrate both goals resulted in praise from many professionals and fans for his respect for his former club.
Ronaldo became the only player in history to score in 6 Clasicos in a row, and became the first non-Spaniard to captain Real Madrid in a Clasico in more than 60 years. Real finished their disappointing season by being knocked out by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League following a 4-1 thrashing, and a 2-1 loss to rivals Atletico Madrid at home in the Copa del Rey final (Ronaldo scored the only goal in each of those encounters). This left many fans and professionals alike wondering if money truly was the key to success, as Real spent heavily every season, but failed to achieve the stability required to win trophies.

Carlo Ancelotti became Real's new manager in 2013, and the record purchase of Gareth Bale saw many Real fans furious for the sale of play-maker Mesut Ozil. However, Ronaldo had finally signed a new contract that made him the highest-paid player in the world at the time, and saw Madridistas relieved at the successful negotiations. Ronaldo went into the year of 2014 with 24 goals in 17 games, including a record 9 goals in Champions League group stages. He won the Ballon d'Or that year, beating Lionel Messi and Franck Ribery, after coming 2nd to the legendary Messi for 3 years running (4 times in total. Ronaldo came second to Kaka in 2007), and would also go on to win the European Golden Shoe this season. This led many to praise Ronaldo for being one of the greatest players of all-time.
Ronaldo looked to continue his success after the new year, but was soon sent off against Athletic Bilbao for a slap to Iturraspe and dissent with the referee. This was Ronaldo's 3rd red card in a Real Madrid shirt, and he was criticized for his unnecessary behavior. However, Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey 2-1 against Barcelona (Ronaldo was ruled out of the match with an injury), and Ronaldo became the highest ever scorer in Champions League history with 16 goals as Real thrashed Bayern 5-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals. Madrid went into the final of the Champions League against city rivals Atletico, who had beaten them to the La Liga title. Ronaldo played with a hamstring injury and his leg strapped, and put in a poor performance. However, he scored the final goal from the penalty spot as Real won their legendary "La Decima" by beating Atletico 4-1 in ET. This moment firmly established Ronaldo as one of Real Madrid's all-time greats.
