Cech can still play at top level for 7 - 8 years, and courtois can not extend his loan anymore, plus we do need a top class striker, so I think this is acceptable as long as we have a buy back clause for courtois inserted in the deal

yea, daily mail is the source, but to me this deal makes sense because chelsea definitely need a better striker. eto'o and demba ba will leave in the summer.. lukaku is good, but torres, well u know how he is..so a striker is a must.

Courtois has the potential to become the best GK in the world in the next couple of years. Why trade him for Costa who's got another 4 or 5 years or so of being a top striker when you have the younger and more beastly Lucoco Beans waiting to be unleashed in the Chelsea first eleven.

If Costa comes in then I can see Lukaku leaving Chelsea. I'm sure as hell that he doesn't want be loaned again or be sitting on the bench for Costa.

after all, this is just a rumor, but if it do happen, i will be happy. courtois is definitely a world class GK, but at the moment cech is doing very well and has shown no sign of declining. its the CF position that we need to strengthen. torres is injury prone and not consistent, we cant depend on lukaku alone, costa will be a good addition.

Strikers are generally worth a lot more than goal keepers when it comes to transfer fees. This is possible but I doubt it. It would be a stupid move by Chelsea because Courtois presence on the field is worth more than Costa's (even though he's a world class striker).
