Skill and organizational ability at the service of the Whites’ midfield. After starring in three different countries (Bosnia, Croatia and England) and in the European Championship, Luka Modric signed for Real Madrid in August 2012, thus reaching the peak of his football career.

The Croatian has always had outstanding vision which allows him to play in several different positions. He started as an attacking midfielder who could play the final ball to forwards but in recent years he has played further back. He now helps out more with defensive tasks and plays the ball out from the back to begin the attack. He’s a versatile player who provides plenty of options for the team.

At the age of 18, Luka was named the best player in the Bosnian First Division and was awarded the same title in 2007 in Croatia. He continued his career in the Premier League where he became Tottenham’s record signing and the key player in their midfield. In his four seasons at Spurs, he made 24 assists and scored 13 goals, and earned a deserved reputation as a creative and unselfish midfielder who always aims to help his team.

Basically when it comes to stats he is just an average player, when it comes to performance, he makes the viewers ecstatic! His vision and ball control are of a level of the greats, his ball protection and dribbling are orgasmic, he plays his best on every match, you can feel relax when he's playing, he can play CAM, CDM and CM.

Despite his age, we can still see he has a couple years left in him due to his amazing work rate in attack and defence. You dont need to dribble like Messi, or score like ronaldo, you can be a player of your own quality which will show how imporant you are for your team

like iniesta for barcelona, turan for atletico, matic/hazard for chelsea, de gea for united, and many other players from around the world dont need stats to support them when showing their importance to the team.

One of the best players I have ever watched. I feel joy watching him play in the white shirt. I can proudly say I loved him even before he joined Madrid, I even have his 2011 Spurs kit with #14. He is such a good player, "orgasmic" as you say. He reminds me of Xavi in his prime, always so calm on the ball, great passing, brings balance to the midfield. One of the best midfielders I have ever seen, and I wouldn't change him for anyone. He's our little magician. Get well soon Luka!
