@Dynst I can somehow understand the selling of Isco "somehow" but Di Maria and VARANE ?

Isco -
It will be a shame to sell Isco he took his time and i believe has settled in Madrid and will only get better, not sure what Ancelloti and Perez have in mind but i have to trust them i guess. Selling Özil has shown to be the best move for the club.

Di Maria

  • as far as i understand he is the one pushing to leave? if that is the case then i have to wish the best of luck he have been a rock solid in midfield i just hope he isn't doing this just to play at the wing because i know he prefer that over playing in the position he plays now.

Varane -
Selling would be a really stupid thing to do. But i feel that this is no more then just media fuss or the player wants to be with Mou i doubt that tho most likely he will stay.

@Salahdin

I hope it doesn't come to that. Varane can be our next Fernando Hierro. It's been a while since a true world-class defender has played for Madrid (Ramos is indeed world-class, but too inconsistent in his former years).

Sky sources are reporting that Liverpool have agreed a fee of £8.5million with QPR for the transfer of France striker Loic Remy. The 27-year-old is understood to have a release clause in his contract entitling him to speak to clubs in the Champions League who bid an agreed amount.

If Varane is going to be sold not less then 60m € i would let him go.
Man for me Ramos is a legend, i know he has had his ups and downs but its all forgiven :D
I would not let Varane go but you never know what they are planing in Madrid. I would like to thank Zizo for bringing Varane to Madrid.

Varane is 30M if someone overpays, 20M if the price is fair.

60? What's this a 20 year old guaranteed Maldini?

He was speaking in terms of perspective. I don't think he meant it literally. Relax guys.

I wouldn't sell Varane for anything under 50 Million either. This man is the next big defender, and I don't want him to leave my club. :)

David Luis went for 50 million didn't he? why are you as a Chelsea fan surprised from the amount i mentioned? and Varane is better and younger then D.Luiz and also its not only the value of the player, its the value within the club. He is very important now and will be more important in the future. 60 million now a days is not much specially for a rich club like Chelsea :)

As you may know we are not a selling club, we do(did) sell good great and stars but only because they either weren't enough for us or they didn't fit/want to stay.

  • "60 million now a days is not much specially for a rich club like Chelsea"*

I don't know if you are serious or joking . Anyways , throwing 60 million for 21 years old prospect is too much for any top club including club like Chelsea . However, it is never a problem for Real to buy young prospect like James Rodriguez for 81 million or to beat their own transfer records every other few years .

"As you may know we are not a selling club"

And Yeah we are very much aware of it .... I think Real made it very clear since year 2000

@marcus that's exactly the point, by putting a 60million price tag on him, that would be saying he is not for sale. Varane is one of the very top defending prospects in the world, he's 21, and he plays for Real Madrid, a club that doesn't need money. All that put together means that his price if someone wanted to buy him would be astronomical. I say 60millions sounds fair. No one would buy him for this price, but that's what it would take to take him away from madrid.

^ PSG would, but they dont actually need him.

I cant see him leave Madrid without sharp buisness from Perez, if Barça could buy him, i would be happy to see a 50 Million bid to take him but its actually impossible that RM feeds us...
We were willing to pay 45m for Marquinhos, a less experienced player imo, Varane prooved his worth in the highest level. ( He did amazing but his dual loss in WC against Germany is staying in our memories, sh** happens )
Many big teams are looking for a CB and there are few inform ones free in Europe, Thiago Silva and David Luiz record transfers and the importance of defense lately has changed the defenders traditional prices....
Felipe Luis was a fair price, and the young Hummells for less than 30M in the actual crazy market would be a steal.

@Marcus KH is a spot on +1. We did the same thing when PSG wanted Hazard, Mourinho estimated his price tag around 200 million pounds.
