De-javu. Being linked with so many potential season-changing players yet we never buy them. :/
I heard Moyes himself went to scout that player in the Juventus - Caligari match.
And god damn. If Pogba came back to United...

Replace Benzema with Morata please. Sell big Benz for someone who can actually finish.
@Dynastian98 Who do you rate the best at finishing in order? (Benzima, Torres, Ba, Eto'o)
Chelsea bid £20m for Matic
Sky Sports sources are reporting that Chelsea have made a £20m bid to bring Benfica's Nemanja Matic back to Stamford Bridge.
Really? Ever Benega to United? What the hell is Moyes thinking?

@Alex
Sorry, but El Nino just seems to miss a lot of sitters. :/
Eto'o in his prime can kill all of these guys, but I think his age is catching up to him.
Ba is a fantastic striker, but he just isn't "clinical". More of a good target man to aim your crosses at.
Benzema has bags of talent... but he's so damn lazy. Doesn't even bother to make decent runs sometimes. He has some phenomenal strikes when he feels like it though. On his day, he's one of the top 5 strikers in the world, but he's too damn inconsistent and lazy to ever live up to that label. He's just another average striker, to sum it all up.
But this is just my opinion. Obviously, you watch Torres, Ba, and Eto'o a lot more often than I do, so I'm just basing these rankings from what I've seen.
@Alex
Here's what I mean. You can skip to 5:50 in the Benzema video to see his goals.
Benzema reminds me a lot of Anelka as for me believe it or not from all the games I've seen for Chelsea here is how these players stands in terms of finishing:
1- Benzima.
2- Torres.
3- Ba.
4- Eto'o.
Torres is by far our best option upfront and still not the best. but eh Imagine both Real Madrid and Chelsea with a decent and clinical finisher upfront! someone like Drogba in his prime.. I think we will be happy if we sign Rooney more than Falcao. Rooney just loves to be the main striker. and he would fit perfectly there in front of Hazard - Oscar - Willian. with Matic - Ramires behind them and of course Ivanovic - Cahill/D.Luiz - Terry - A.Cole and Cech we are set! :) but eh I'm just dreaming although it's not impossible, anything can happen. :) and the subs are great (Lampard, Mata, Schurrle, KDB but he will leave, Essien and many loaned out promising players. These are the reliable players we have.
@Alex
Works out just fine with us. Perez is interested in Falcao, but I think Suarez fits in the team better. We need that guy who can lay off passes to Bale and Ronaldo, NOT another pure finisher.
Still no Barca centerback rumors? :(
We really need a tall and good CB because all of our players are midgets which is why we suck at set pieces.
@Alex: Rooney at Chelsea would be immense. Just don't know if United will want to sell to a PL rival, if they want to get back 'on the horse' next season, so to speak.
There's really a shortage of top-class strikers on the market right now, but, perhaps Roman might try to prise Cavani away from PSG? He'd be a new Drogba, for sure.
@Lodatz I would still prefer Rooney over anyone else. he just fits a lot and being a british player is a huge plus. as for Rooney or Cavani we can tempt PSG and Man Utd by including Mata in the deal. I can't believe I'm saying that about Mata but eh we desperately need a Striker and Mourinho doesn't play him much because of the new combination, Hazard, Oscar & Willian are a hard working players they run tirelessly, creative upfront and improving a lot defensively, that's what we need. so Mata will only play as a sub which's not really good for a player with his qualities. Mata is a CAM not a RW or a RM.
@Dynastian98
"We need that guy who can lay off passes to Bale and Ronaldo"
How about Özil? I heard he is good O:) *Sorry* :))
I still think that in the fullness of time, you will change your mind about Willz. ;)
Juan Mata is one hell of a give-away. Maybe you're right, and United would be tempted by that. They do have Welbeck, RVP and Chicharito still as their striker roster, even without Rooney, and Januzaj and Zaha are ones for the future.
I guess We Shall See.
Would still love to have Mata at the Lane. :/
Neva! not with that afro! :))
We would offer him to you guys if you had Willian :P
Willian failed our medical. :p
He failed our medical. :p
Just like how he failed Liverpool's medical too. yeah I remember, it's called *Lack of interest symptom* :P haha jk O:)
It's still technically true. Failure to complete the medical counts as a failure, damnit!
