I think it's not up to him anymore, It's a must for the club and their reputation.
Matic (wait for Matic until the summer transfer window is what I'd do) and Rooney are too expensive for the January transfer window. I'd choose Guarin and that's it.
I honestly think we need finally a good quality striker that knows how to finish and a CDM. That's all we need a striker to finish at least 3 out of 20 chances but not none.. and also a CDM who can actually help us from losing position in the pivot and concede every single game...
There's also a young striker from Heerenveen called Bilal Basacikoglu who we're supposedly linked with.

@Alex: I think we can survive this season with Torres, Eto'o, and Ba as strikers. Then next season when Eto'o leaves Lukaku will take his place as the first team striker. I also have an issue with DM thing because I really want to wait for Chalobah instead of buying a 25 year old DM.
