@Lodatz

I'm sure Kaka could bring a lot to Tottenham. I think that Madrid are more interested in loaning him out at the moment, so why don't you give AVB and Levy a call so that they are aware of it? ;)

and @tdot and Golden

Okay guys, Bale and Messi are completely different players. But for their team, they do a LOT. They basically hold up their team almost single-handedly sometimes. And saying that Bale is 1/4 of Messi or 3/4 of Messi doesn't make any sense to me, simply because they have completely different playing styles. What you CAN say though, is that Bale is about 1/2 of Ronaldo. :P

@Dynastian: You know who I wish we'd ask for a loan of? Gerard Deulofeu.

He's not even warming the bench at Barca, so why not help us with our striker problem for a season? ;)

Goodness.... I've seen that kid play, and he's LETHAL. What a crazy talent Barca have at their disposal, and he's only 18. With Alexis, Messi, Pedro, Villa, Iniesta, and Tello playing in their trident attacking position, you might as well go and BUY Deulofeu. He'd be the perfect replacement for Bale. ;)

Oh, and I heard that Deulofeu can play all three attacking positions, so that makes him an incredibly talented utility player as well.

To be fair, Ronaldo wasn't half the player he is now when he was 23 either...

Ronaldo could still do wonders in United if he's back. Not as much impact as he had years ago, but still. United would be quite a force to recon with once again if he's back.

I've asked myself millions of times why don't they play Deulofeu in the A squad. Sure as hell has more talent then tello. Currently barca are going to a striker drought and he could be the fresh face that we need.
