Wow, Arsenal are really getting desperate now. Also, ManUtd need to stop being cheap and pay the proper prices for players. 28 million pounds for BOTH Baines and Fellaini? Like Everton said on their website, it's extremely offending.

We kinda did the same though when we made our first bid for Rooney :)

I think the first bid for Rooney was more to start off negotiations, to see where they price him. Rooney was also unsettled and wasn't helping the morale in the ManUtd squad. With the Everton bid though, they bid for their best two players and only for 28m. Plus, they did it a couple of days after Fellaini's 23m buy-out clause ended. You'd expect a bit of respect from Moyes, their former manager.

What do you think about Rooney's final bid?

Jose Mourinho has made it clear that he sees Rooney as the last piece of his Chelsea puzzle, and wants him as his No. 9. Owner Roman Abramovich is prepared to offer Rooney a four-year deal with wages of £300,000 a week.

I would be fine with that offer. Rooney could very well be the key for the Premier League, and in the future, the CL. We're also financially stable and debt free which means we shouldn't be badly affected with the high wage and offer. But I doubt this is true, because 300,000 is too much. Even for Chelsea or ManCity.
