Interesting that Barca are looking to plunder PL defenders. Looks like they're taking the problem seriously.
Any idea whether or not Chelsea would sell? (sorry, Reds fans, but I take it as a given that Liverpool would)

#3) For the Ronaldo contract, Ronaldo himself has said that everything is not yet "settled", so we have to wait for confirmation on that rumor. Looks likely to be true though.
And here's a biggie.
Julio Cesar joins Fiorentina
Wow Arsene. You needed an "experienced, and world-class" goalkeeper to teach Szczesny and here was the QPR man stating that he is willing to remain in London but not with QPR. It was a PERFECT chance to get a temporary first-team shot stopper until Szczesny matures into a world-class GK under his tutoring. But Arsene has let this one slip away as well.
This summer looked to be a promising one for Gooner fans, as Arsene was reportedly given 70 M pounds to invest in transfers, and only Yaya Sanogo was brought in for free. Higuain was their first target, and he went to Napoli. Cesar would've been a brilliant coup, but now he's gone to Fiorentina for 3 M euros. If Arsene Wenger doesn't get Luis Suarez (who has himself admitted that he prefers to move OUT of England), Arsenal's top 4 hopes will vanquish.
^^ I think Bernard is on the cards, still...?
Also, I still can't shake this feeling that Modric will be playing at the Emirates. I'm not 100% sure why. It's just there.
@Lod
I doubt Chelsea will be willing to sell Luiz. Luiz is going to be a key, key player for the Blues in the coming years. Luiz and Mata are two players Chelsea must absolutely NOT sell this summer. They need the leadership and motivation from these two players to lead the relatively young squad. Luiz especially. A man of his humor and leadership capabilities is not something Chelsea would get rid of so easily. Barca can't even buy him with a record breaking bid because Abramovic doesn't NEED more money. So it should be a win-win for Chelsea. They keep Luiz, and Barca will have more difficulty in the CL's latter stages (where they might face Chelsea themselves; therefore giving Chelsea a big advantage).
I have no idea anymore. David Luiz did not play in our match against AC Milan and will miss the final against Real Madrid due a "Hamstring Injury" which makes me suspicious and there is something fishy about it, just like what happened with Rooney he was supposed to play the match against AIK Stockholms today with a poster includes his picture as the star player for this match few days ago. Yet they said he was Injured and won't be playing. Both situations makes me wonder if they are doing it so they can pass the medical test.. I hope Luiz stay with us.. We have many defenders though, but I still want him to stay even if Barcelona paid 40 million. We have Azpilicuta, Ivanovic, Terry, A.Cole, Cahill, Kalas & Ake.
@Dynestian I have no idea either why Wenger didn't sign Julio Cesar.. If I were an Arsenal fan I would be so pissed to miss out on Cesar.. BRILLIANT signing by Fiorentina. (Edited) :P
@Alex
Objection. BRILLIANT signing by Fiorentina. I would be surprised if they don't end up in the Serie A top 4 next season. :)
6 title is so misleading :)
Bernard has joined Shakhtar
Luiz is not going anywhere. He didn't play vs AC Milan because if his hamstring and was rested vs Madrid (as well as Mata). In fact, the same day Mundo Deportivo posted their silly article, Chelsea posted pictures of Luiz having his own type of training to recover faster. Silly Mundo Deportivo.
@Fred Shakhtar signings always impress me they are so good at signing players.
@V I hope so, I want Luiz to stay and If possible Rooney to join us..
