@ramaboy: Klopp actually said that he'd rather keep Lewa for one more year and give him away for free after this season, than selling him in the summer or winter transfer period. However, Juve is not going to get him anyway, because he only wants to join Bayern.

Why is nobody trying to sign Papiss Cisse??

^^ I DON'T KNOW. I would snap up Cisse in a heartbeat, if I could. Screw Soldado and Lopez, Cisse would be an excellent buy around the 15-18m mark.

Kinda worried by those medical reports regarding Bernard. >.>

OMG if we did actually get Lewa for free! It would be crazy. Pirlo, Pogba, Llorente, Lewa + Barzagli almost free = GOOD BUSINESS

@Juve19 If Lewa perform like last season at least 5 big clubs will try to get him during winter transfer at any price asked before another. so I doubt he will go for free to any club.

@AlexBatak

But that's the benefit of it all. If everyone waits until Lewa is free next summer, you can pounce on him. It'll make him the steal of the season by far. And he's only going to be 25 then, so his age is not much of a worry at all. :)

That being said, we all know that Bayern are the only club that's going to get him. :P

BLUES SEAL CUEVAS SIGNING
Posted on: Tue 23 Jul 2013

Chelsea Football Club has completed the signing of Cristian Cuevas from Chilean club O'Higgins.

The 18-year-old has signed a contract until 2018.

He came through the youth ranks at O'Higgins before breaking into the first team and playing in the top flight in Chile.

At the FIFA Under-20 World Cup this summer he played in four of his nations' five games as Chile made it to the quarter-finals before losing to Ghana.At 5ft 7in tall he plays primarily as a left-back but can also operate as a left-winger. Source: Chelsea Fc official website.

Cuevas is almost certainly being viewed as the long-term replacement for Ashley Cole, whose contract expires next summer.

In all probability, Cuevas will be loaned out this season to get first team experience somewhere in Europe, with Bertrand still acting as back-up to Cole. But when the time is right and if he develops as hoped, Cuevas could challenge Bertrand for the left-back spot at Stamford Bridge.

Sigh.....
Why are United and Moyes chasing after Bale and Fabregas when they know they're never going to get them? Bale only wants to go to Madrid and Fabregas would only return to Arsenal. United have no hope there. :/

@Dynastian Manchester United will make an improved third bid worth £35 million for Cesc Fabregas after Barcelona rejected their latest offer for the midfielder. I think Barcelona can't reject such offer for Fabregas.

@Rama I take my words back £35 million isn't an improved bid for such player. I just checked to make sure If he has been doing great at Barcelona or not, and he seem to be doing very well and I don't see any reason why Barcelona would sell him at this price. maybe hmm £45 million?

@Alex

I believe Arsenal have first rights to reject the transfer of Cesc Fabregas due to the deal they made with Barcelona when he transferred there. Therefore, as long as Gooners say no, it's a no. :P
