@ramaboy thanks but no thanks...heisinburg did say (it's deleted now) it is a kind of redundant thing to have and I agree. This type of "voting" isn't really healthy for footyroom as you can see from knibis' comment.

No offense Heis, but this is completley normal. What sort of trouble would voting about the people you believe are best in each category bring? Unless people start going all crazy and fight over who is the nicest then I get it. The only realistic fight is when people start being mad for being named most hated, and thats not even on there! I'll vote later cuz I can't think of who to be in each category right now because I'm a lazy bum.

This is a football website, not a popularity contest. If you still encourage these kinds of competition, then you're just a child.

Once again Heis, I disagree with you. Yes this is a football site, but it doesn't mean the members can join in together on something off-topic. Thats why we have an off-topic section. Btw, who said its a competition? It's not like the people getting voted promise to bribe them or something. Its basically out peoples opinion on what user is in what category.

Yes, it is based on people's opinions, but there are certain boundaries to these kinds of forum posts. A popularity contest such as this, only encourages a greater division between each member, which will cause more hatred and jealousy, thus, more negative trolls.

You can do whatever you want, but I'm warning you based on my experience. The consequences of being voted as the best on something isn't as great as you'd think.

Whatever then. I guess you could say that the "child" is now warning you not to do this, purely based on his experience. I have nothing else to say.
