The beauty of football and how it unites people

During a game today in Greece a team called ΑΕΛ kept a 2 minute silence and sat down for all the refugees and their kids who drown daily in the Aegean Sea trying in their own way to force a move by everyone for all those poor lives of people and especially children.

Sometimes I wonder what I love most about football and I always end up saying how it connects all people in such simple way, sorry for this but it is actually touching...Nobody who can actually help cares about those people sadly but moves like those always motivate people to become better even if they are that simple!

I love the beautiful side of football. Anyone ever read or hear about how Drogba ended a civil war in his country? That's amazing.

@tuan agree.

@raimondo I haven't heard the full story for some strange reason. Have heard it though.
