The guy was such an inspiration for so many people who try to overcome adversity. It was a sad day when the truth was revealed.

While I do agree that doping is simply wrong, I have to say that I've always felt that Armstrong's situation is a little different.

I mean, the guy DID have cancer. He DID come back to defeat it and win again. If anything, the doping was an equalizer, in that respect, at least at first.

While, yes, he deserves to be stripped of the titles since the truth came out, I'm not sure he deserves to be stripped of the inspirational part.
