^ I guess you're right, but I really think there some of them are rascist and agressive. Once I saw Eboue hit by bottles in the field. This is really shameful.
You're generalizing all of them because of some individuals? Can i call all of Man U. fans hooligans because a retarded minority? Can I call all French gay because there are some homosexuals there?
What's wrong with booing the opponent team? I'd rather hear booing that vuvuzelas. The way I see it, is that booing the enemy team at any given chance shows great support.
Anyhow, I'm surprised you have never heard that as the English, Turkish fans cause trouble wherever they go.
Of course English clubs were banned from European competitions for the hooligan behavior, for 5 years. We cleaned it up.
What's Turkey's (or UEFA's) excuse?
Death threats on signs at a stadium does not fit into my view of a 'great supporter'.
LOL i visited Istanbul once and I was on the bus with a couple of friends. The bus had Fenerbahce's ads on the exterior, and some Galatasaray's hooligans came in, and literally took the bus down, broke the windows, seats etc.
Trust me, I know what they are like. I couldn't take the bus after this incident, because the girls I was with, were scared.
Engish clubs cleaned it up... I take your word for it.

Quote: "In a FA Cup semi-final match between Millwall and Wigan Athelic on 13 April 2013 the worst episode of violence witnessed at the new Wembley, with Millwall fans fighting amongst themselves and 14 arrests were made [149], On the same weekend on 14 April 2013 violence broke out at a premier league match between Newcastle and Sunderland. Bottles were thrown and bins set on fire as mounted officers tried to move crowds back to allow visiting fans to be escorted to Metro and rail services and 29 arrests were made during the game itself. [150]"
That's what? 11 days ago? Sounds clean to me already.
Touche. ;)
I suppose you'll allow that Millwall are hardly a typical example of English football, however?
And yeah, it's true about the recent Tyneside derby. You know what's notable? That it's the first instance of large-scale fan clashes for years.
Try going to Milan when it's That Time, and you might see the difference. ;)
I wish English fans could be more like the Greek, Turkish and German!
At least english fans don't throw fumigenes are turkish do.
Actually english fans are the worst. Remember man city fans threw coins at Rio ferdinand?
Still... we are so bad the Old Trafford peeps claimed it was too quiet :P
i don't find it annoying, it's maybe different but it's another way of support... ultra are violent everywhere, lot of fights in France, racism against players in spain or italy.... why just talking about turkish fans???
Turkish fans at home (all the teams+ national team) boo during the whole game whenever the opponent gets the ball, whenever the opponent create chances, score goals and make fouls.
Should this really be accepted in your opinion?
