That's extremely unfair for the Atletico players. They deserve better.

78m is too much for a Championship side (to be fair though, they could be in the EPL again soon)

But 54m for a club in the CL final is really sad for the players. No matter how tough the finances in Atletico are currently, the players are being scammed.

@vendetta there's no scam. A scam would be promising money and not giving it to them. Like what happened at Malaga a few years back. And no one is forcing them to stay. If they want more money they can leave and join chelsea or real or city or manu. I'm sure it's going to happen this summer with some of them.

Now I know why Atletico's best players leave when they know the team is really good and the manager is one of the best. It's because of their salaries.

I don't think that's ONLY because of their salaries. Of course they want more, but it's not like you cannot live with 60k/per week. Look, that's 240k/month. If you look else, people are happy if they got 2k/month. I think that they want more because they see that they someone else got more so why don't them. Personally you don't even need that large amount of money, you don't need new Porsche every month.
