Fiorentina have reached an agreement to sell striker Stevan Jovetic to Manchester City, the Serie A club have confirmed.

The
Montenegro international, who scored 13 goals in 31 appearances last
term, has been hot property this summer, with Manchester United, Chelsea
and Arsenal reported suitors.

City had been linked with the 23-year-old during Roberto Mancini's
reign but successor Manuel Pellegrini now appears set to benefit from
the club's lengthy pursuit.

A statement published on Fiorentina's official Twitter account read:
"An agreement has been reached with Manchester City Football Club for
the permanent sale of the player Stevan Jovetic."

nope, honestly, I don't think Pellegrini will do well with City. He's a great manager, but he has no experience in how the English game works, so I reckon he won't be as good as Mancini.

^That's not a reason to not succeed. Mourinho came to Chelsea in his first tenure with only the experience of the Portuguese League. Look at how well he did in the EPL.
