@D, no correction needed. It is the same with American players. The number of them playing in Europe can be counted on one hand.

At the same time, no club would give them salary that English clubs give them in PL, they are overpaid and its not a scoop...
If i was an English player, i wont quit PL.

@Dyn

IT would be fair to count Bale as well since Welsh teams such as Swansea play in the PL.

That only means that everyone wants to stay or play in England for many reasons.

As if they were wanted elsewhere :), nobody would pay + 30M for a youngster who show nothing just because he is English except PL teams...
Or he should be PL player of the year and then some clubs would ask for him.

The best Spanish players are playing atm in their own country. Why do they have to move to the PL if they have La Liga. Which is FOR ME the best league in the world. Can't wait to visit Madrid this year and experience everything myself as a Madridista.

@Iraqi_Madridista. Enjoy it bro! Been to Madrid twice, it is a beautiful city with gorgeous architecture, amazing food, kind people (Don't believe all of the rumors, all of the people I met were caring, and very polite). But best of all, the Bernabeu. I couldn't believe I was finally visiting the mythical Stadium itself. Just amazing, the tour can't be described in words, I could stay there for days just watching the stadium, the trophies, etc. You'll have an amazing time. :)

Uhm. Well I'm Colombian, so I spoke in Spanish all the time, but I'm sure Touristic in sights, people will speak multiple languages, specially english. I'm sure at the Bernabeu as well. And the country is beautiful regardless, you'll enjoy it anyhow.

lollllz, when you guys are visiting famous touristic city in Spain (Madrid, Barca, Mallorca...) watch out for pickpocket those are pro overthere. Everything is cheap and fabulous compare to Western Europe.

Btw, back to the topic. English players are always overrated and over hyped, they earn sh!t load of $$$ there so why would they move anywhere, I wouldnt if I was any of them economic wise.

However, I would, because I could experience cultures and enjoy warmer weather country... England has the shittiest weather in all of those football giants country, not to mention the foods.

But, let's be honest here, no club in the right mind would want an overpaid English player with their skills.

@RM17, Gracias Colombiano! ;) I learned abit of spanish and i can speak it very well. Lots of Spanish people in Spain they cant speak english sometimes so you have to know spanish to communicate with them. But i think Colombia is way more beautiful. Especially Medellín i saw a documentary about it on TV.
