Damn, the first minute of that video just reminds you of ho much sh*t he's been through at such a young age.
The fact that he's taken it all on the chin and come back strong from it is nothing short of heroic. It takes real courage and effort to do that... he's only 22. Can you imagine how a younger you would've reacted to all that?
Luckily he has a fatherly coach who takes care of his players. I'm glad Wenger showed his faith in him by handing him a new long contract.
BTW, the song is very appropriate for all the fans that have nominated him as Arsenal's next scapegoat. It is a strange habit at Arsenal, that despite being pretty patient/supportive fans, in each generation of a team, one person is always singled out as a scapegoat... the sacrificial lamb. It is a sad thing but it's always been that way as far as I've been supporting them. Luckily, some fans have hit back and have stuck by him through it all.
I'm glad for the lad and I believe he has a lot to offer. No payer works harder for the team than Ramsey. Covers more ground than anyone and isn't afraid to get stuck in anymore. Noone knows just what heights he can reach or if he'll ever become the player he once promised to be... but he'll never be poor.
Ramsey had a very good last season, and I think there is still a lot more to expect from him. I am excited about being linked with midfielders this summer but I hope there is still room for him to play, because in my opinion he can become a great player. What do you guys think ? Great video of his 12/13 season :
