Thought I'd post my opinion on Real Madrid's greatest starting XI while I'm at it. :P

No Ronaldo (Brazilian) Dynastian??

Nope. Ronaldo may have been a legend, but he was not better for Madrid than Raul or Puskas. Note: better FOR MADRID. As a Brazilian, he's probably the third best Brazilian player in history (behind Garrincha and Pele), but for Madrid, Puskas and Raul are untouchable.

Oh hmmm I suppose so, but as for Di Stefano, he was a forward not a center mid. Random he represented 3 national teams, Argentina, Colombia and Spain.

No, Di Stefano was more or less considered a midfielder. It's because he played in the false nine role that Messi and Rooney play in today. That's why I put him as an attacking midfielder in my squad, so that I can make room for Raul and Puskas.

Laurent Blanc?  That is a joke right?  You may as well partner him with William Prunier.  Vidic, Pallister, Bruce, Stam.  Could any of these fine fellows give the ageing Blanc a run for his money?  I reckon so.    

Blanc? He was one of our club's worst signings....lol!

@johnnyface & @Heisinburg: Then who would you replace him with? I already put Vidic and Stam on the bench. Sorry, but I'm not personally prepared to entertain the idea that Gary Pallister or Steve Bruce deserve to be there, but feel free to make your case.

Put him for Vidic, then take him off the subs and add Niestelrooy

Yep! I'd put Vidic over Blanc, anytime. However, I admire Stam a lot as well, but the Ferdinand - Vidic pair was the best I've seen for all my time as a United fan.
