I don't personally believe that, WTH, but if it was true, then what's your point?

Let's say it's true, for example. That means I would be praising the referees, during that time, for helping us beat annoying-ass teams that win all the time, that's for sure. Watching Korea beat Portugal, Italy and Spain was one the greatest moments of my life.  It was so great that I can still remember the atmosphere during that time.

Yeah, luck wasn't on our side when we lost against the Germans, but if it wasn't for Korea's epic run, I wouldn't be much of a football fan myself today. More importantly, football wouldn't have made such an impact to the Asian continent. That's a fact, so surprisingly, the referee have played a key role in bringing top levelled football closer to Asia.

Then perhaps you don't know the logic of 'home advantage' then. Just sayin'.

No, I'm saying that the referee did a fair job in South Korea's benefit, seeing that it was played in Korea during such a prestigious event. That's home advantage, but it has nothing to do with the referee being unfair to other teams.

Ever since I recall I supported Boca jr starting around early 90s my older brother had a big influence. But I'd say around 2002 I started to watch from other countries always liked Barca but ended up liking Valencia more.

Post World Cup 2006. The 2006 final was the first game I watched! Still remember sitting through the night to watch the entire thing even though I couldn't understand some rules, but God was it entertaining! I watched it because of all the hype on news channels and in papers about Zidane and Henry.
I'm glad about it now. Football is so much better than cricket which unfortunately to people here is the only sport that exists.

Heisinburg Korea's matches at the 2002 WC were totally fixed.. portugal: 2 red cards for portugal - italy: 1 disallowed goal that wasn't offside and a ridiculous red card for totti - spain: 2 disallowed goals that were clearly legit goals. you can look this all up on youtube, luckily ballack put an end to that "epic run"
