Silly Season refuses to die!

So, the transfer window has FINALLY shut, and just when we were hoping to get on with 4 months of nothing but actual football.... the papers have not stopped churning out half-baked nonsense about who will be buying whom in January.

Thus far, I've heard about Spurs being linked with El Shaarawy, LLorente, some French midfielder, Arsenal also linked with Llorente (and Benzema), and Inter Milan making a swoop for Holtby. I imagine there are also just as many rumours doing the rounds about every club out there.

The window has been shut for 2 weeks, and still/already we're hearing this crap?

Seriously, if you needed any more proof that the media have nothing better to talk about, and are just competing for your clicks with stupid headlines, then look no further... ;)

Rumors have never being so wrong or inaccurate as the ones from last transfer window... As a United fan it was a painful period of transfers to watch so Im not looking forward to hear about any rumors until the next window opens.

Lets just hope for the media to start talking about other stuff once the leagues get their rhythm going and the UCL starts...

They wouldn't report BS if they did not have an audience.

What I find more saddening is the amount of people who read those fake transfer news. There must be a lot of viewers in the transfer news section for them to keep making bullsh*t rumors.
