You're kidding right?

I hate his style of play, I hate his stupid captain's privileges for Rooney...but, we're competing well in the league, not screwing up the champions league, and the capital one cup game went down to PKs, which we've always sucked at.

Funny note, the only United player to score his PK was from Brazil, while all the misses (including Middlesbrough's) came from English players.

Not sacked.

But he should consider fans' crave for better football and expectation, may be it's time to change a bit. because our football is boring as hell.

Im not saying he has to change left and right, but certainly an improvement is needed. It doesn't take a football scientist to recognize how terrible we play by just passing the ball in the back... The Dutch play like that sometimes nowadays and it's dreadful... it's not even called possession football, it's just clueless football. Sometimes.

I love the guy, but I am quite fed up with his arrogant. i hope he adapts a bit soon.

Van Gaal was never a long-term solution. The United board knew that the moment he was coming in. Van Gaal himself knew it as well. The fans should already be aware of this.

Van Gaal will eventually have to go - sooner or later. His victories are largely scrappy and un-United like. It's simply not fitting the culture of Manchester United (or for most of us: the culture of Sir Alex Ferguson's United). He was brought in as a short-term solution. His sole responsibility was to clean the squad up and bring the quality of the team above a 7th place finish in the league. He has done his job, and will be gone within a season or two and replaced with a manager capable of more attractive football. Ancelotti would be an excellent choice as his football is incredibly entertaining. Klopp would have also brought in an attractive style of play, but he's at your biggest historical rivals right now, LOL.

Here is logic of modern football fans :

If team is playing great and winning then they praise players but when team plays bad and looses they blame manager .

He is not a long term solution as said before. He is a 3 year transitional manager who should be doing better considering it is his second year. He will end his 3 year contact and retire as was planned no matter what. Lets just hope he's stubbornness doesn't end up killing the team's hope for a tittle.

The way manutd play these days is so boring. But I guess they get results. You're only 4 points off first after all it could be way worse. AND he finished in the top 4 last season, you could be still under Moyes for example. I think there are better managers than van gaal out there but he's not crap and he has the experience of managing a big club.

My only beef with LVG is his team selection. Other than that, I have no issues.

I heard about the 3-year-plan, but I thought it was that he won't be sacked before 3 seasons & they would review the situation after 3 seasons rather than sack him (or Van Gaal leave himself) no matter how well he'd do.

Actually frustrates me to see Martial wasted in wing & Rooney in "straaaikershhhh posishhhon" (with Van Gaal's accent) although it's very good for Arsenal. But it's because I could see how good Martial is & I hate seeing his ability being wasted.

I'd be absolutely gutted to see this day's Man Utd play, but with changes they could obviously transform into an entertaining side again.

@tuan Well said.

LVG is a good manager when the players listen to him and follow his so called philosophy. All his success in the past is because of this. LVG will only last until the end of next season not because he will get sacked but because he will be replaced by Giggs. LVG was only brought in to try to cool the storm that David Moyes had made and to teach Giggs so that he would be ready to take charge later on. All of this goes to show that despite the disaster that took place after SAG left the club, it has stayed strong and has been very organized in having a plan set out.
