Highlights seem pretty one-sided (in favour of Toronto) which is funny because these are from Seattle's official twitter account.
Anyways, congrats.
Toronto played REALLY well and deserved to win tbh. Seattle just played some heroic defense. The way Toronto plays the 3-5-2 is just unreal attacking pressure all game long.
EDIT: Yeah Juan, Seattle didn't have a shot on target all game, and didn't really try either. Valdez (our main striker) played injured, Morris (our young striker) was sick as a dog for the last two weeks, and Dempsey (our best striker) hasn't played since September because his heart was beating irregularly.

I'm a bit sad to be sincere, I wanted Toronto to win, as even though they eliminated us, it was our only chance of having a canadian champion in MLS this year. To add insult to injury, Toronto seemed to be a much better side all game, however, a win is a win and I'm pretty happy for you. I just wish all the team I supported in final wouldn't lose like that... (Argentina in WC 2014, Atletico in CL 2016, France in EURO 2016 and now Toronto in MLS final 2016) But enough of me depressing like that. A big congrats to you and your team Sun, enjoy the win. Great save from Stefan Frei as well, might just be the man of the match for me. ;)
Congratz buddy
As i said earlier, the only way Seattle was going to win the cup was in Penalties. They played the right game and defended well, all in all well executed plan. I am like you sun flash in that Dortmund is my Favourite club but i also support Toronto FC because of proximity. I have a very strong affection/connection for both teams, as you can imagine i was pretty heart broken when we lost in penalties at home , to a team that couldn't get a shot on goal. I am just glad we put out montreal :P Jk emo. On the other hand i am happy for seattle and their first MLS Cup and I am already so excited for next season. Just praying Gio doesnt leave us... also kind of scared to lose players like Will Johnson when the two new teams are added to the MLS. COngrats sun flash!!! What a great season for both of our teams!
Not relevant but my sister is moving to Seattle, so I am supporting them (might visit) and glad that they won
@Golefty
I am just glad we put out montreal
And here I was supporting Toronto even though they beated us. ;( Last time its gonna happen. ;P JK
@ Emobot7
hahah i would have supported Montreal had they beaten us , would love to see Drogba lift a trophy again.
Also, Montreal is a badass city with sweet techno
@Golefty Thanks lad, sadly, I hardly ever go there, I live in a smaller city you see, wich I won't say its name to protect my identity. I know I'm paranoid, no need to tell me. XD
Congrats mate. Can't believe I missed this game.
The highlights aren't up on the site yet, and to be honest, they're pretty underwhelming. The game finished 0-0 (5-4), and was one of the best defensive games I have ever seen in my life.
As you all know, I am a Manchester United fan, but domestically I follow the Seattle Sounders, as I have since they entered the league eight years ago. I have had the Sounders emblem as my avatar here since day one, and while they are different teams, I have that same emotional response regardless of whether it is United or Seattle.
Aside from the sheer happiness I am experiencing right now that I wanted to share with you guys, I wanted to share this Stefan Frei save, in the 107th minute to preserve his shut out:
Best save I have seen all year. Easy.
If you guys want to learn more about the final, Matthew Doyle (my favorite soccer analyst) wrote up a summary here:
