This cup is the equivalent of the Champios league, but for the Americas. San Lorenzo were crowned champios after a 2-1 agreggate (yes its a two legged affair).

Congrats to San Lorenzo. But on a different matter, a former San Loreno player Ignacio Piatti moved to MLS side Montreal Impact just a few weeks ago. Its exciting to see players like him sign for the league, who are in their prime and play for a respectable side. Unlike signings like Frank Lampard, which make us just seem like a retirement league. Hopefully MLS teams will continue to make signings like this.
