According to reports, Manchester United has dispatched scouts to observe Roma striker Tammy Abraham, but their pursuit may be hampered by interest from his former team.

The English international Abraham, 25, left Chelsea after the 2020–21 season for a fee of £34 million, and in less than two seasons in Italy, he has already surpassed his 82 appearances and 30 goals from his time there.
Abraham’s second season with Roma saw him make 53 appearances and score 27 goals, but this time he has struggled, scoring just seven goals in 34 games.
Although Chelsea will ultimately have the final say as to whether they permit the striker with 11 senior England caps to move to Old Trafford, there is reported interest from United.
