"It’s been alleged that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is unhappy with Cristiano Ronaldo for his comments on the club’s transfer policy.

Ronaldo was quoted as saying that if he was in charge of Los Blancos, he might have done something different than sell Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso.

The forward’s words were taken as a criticism of Madrid and Perez, who oversees the ins and outs at Santiago Bernabeu.Mundo Deportivo has reported that the majority of the Madrid squad agrees with Ronaldo and were unhappy to see Alonso and, especially, Di Maria, leave the club.

Perez is also said to be unhappy with Coach Carlo Ancelotti as Ancelotti continues to pick his favourites in the team and has given no guarantees to James Rodriguez, who is having to compete for his place.

It’s said that Ancelotti doesn’t understand why Madrid signed James and wanted to keep Di Maria, although Di Maria did want to quit the club.

Perez is understood to have made clear that he will continue with his policy regardless of the complaints of the players or the Coach and his displeasure was evident in his absence in the Madrid dressing room following the weekend defeat to Real Sociedad."

"I have my very clear opinion, but I must calculate and I cannot always say what I think because tomorrow I will be on the front of the papers and I do not want that," Ronaldo said, during an event for sponsor Tag Heur.

"But if I was in charge, maybe I would not do things like that. Everyone has their opinion and is free to say what they think. If the president thinks that the best thing for the team is to sign these players and let go those who left then we have to respect and support his decision."

In all seriousness, Perez is a ignorant idiot. Ronaldo said the truth about the transfers, they were unneeded. James is good, very good but Real Madrid has so much midfielder's that are more expierenced than James and he just has to wait until Perez sells one of the better midfielders the next Transfer season.

I kind of wish di Maria would just stick a big, fat middle finger up at the camera and say, "F*ck you Perez" already.

I think Ronaldo should have kept this internal, they will have extra pressure on them now specially the new comers.

wasnt Isco supposed to be the future of Madrid? The sale of Xabi was unexpected. I don't know how madrid will plan to up but last game it showed their defensive flaws.

Isco was the player who Ancelotti wanted to be the future of Madrid.

He was excellent for the first half of last season, but faded when we switched to 4-3-3 and he failed to perform his defensive duties. But in the 4-2 loss to Sociedad, Isco was excellent in defending. He came back every time, and will be a big player this season if he gets the playing time.

Overall, what do you RM fans think about Perez? Would it be better to have a greedy president or one who spends a lot but do things his way? In United's case lots of people criticise the Glazers but I dont see why would they...

RM players have to understand that they are above Perez and any other person related to Madrid who's not a player. Ronaldo and Ramos' comments were perfect, polite and kind of discrete.

Madrid fans like and hate Perez. We love him for bringing Ronaldo, and all-time legend, to our club. We love him for La Decima, and all the players who he bought that were involved in it. We love him for the first transfer he ever made: Sergio Ramos.

But we also hate him. Personally, I hate the way we achieved La Decima. The final just proved that there are two paths to success: the path paved with money (Real), or the path paved with hard work and a strong dedication to your ethics (Atletico). Madridistas also hate Perez for selling Ozil, di Maria, Alonso, Raul, and what will probably be Casillas. We hate him for firing manager after manager and not giving someone a chance. We hate him for bringing in new players to our starting XI every season without giving our players a chance to gel and be the ruthless legendary team we have the capability of being. In short, we hate him more than we love him, and we want him out.

I hate Perez because he sold Di Maria but he is not to be blamed if we're having lots of losses these days. I hope he will satisfied soon and won't fire Ancelotti.

Was not it Perez who ruined Madrid Galacticos last time he was president ? Team that had a perfect balance . Now it seems that he is leading a team trough the same path it went before .

I am confident Real will have very tough season and most likely with no silverware . Not even going to mention defending of CL title.

It was, because United fans seemed to think that having di Maria means instant success. For us, di Maria was excellent in his first and last seasons here. There is no guarantee that he would perform the same in 2014-15 as he did in the season prior, but the fact can't be ignored that he was arguably Madrid's best and most important player behind Ronaldo. His performances were on an entirely different level from 2010/11 and early 2011/12, and he was the only player in our squad with his specific skill set. It is difficult to replace a player like him so quickly.

I have already thrown away the idea of winning CL a long time ago.

You are wrog Marcus, too soon to rule them down from any competition, they have few chances to win la liga no doubt because they will need time to adapt no doubt, but the real competition as you know for other trophies start in February, they will be ready to compete, be patient guys the team has changed and will change its style to adapt to the new commers but it could be better than last year or worst, lets wait and see.
