Not really surprised, he is Uniteds crutch at the moment
he's gonna cry again because he is benched and we wants to go somewhere else. He should have gone.
Hargo was taunted with injuries, its a shame what happened. Carrick is here to stay,I'd be shocked if Carrick doesn't retire at united.
Evra has this clause where he plays a certain amount of games, he gets a 1 year contract extension.
I wouldn't want him to leave this year but I would like to have another talented young left back along with him next year.

@tuan I think youre getting something wrong here, hard working working class people on average earn around 500 pounds a week. He who needs to show up for training and play a hobby earns 300.000 Pounds A WEEK. Earning 300k a year is still extremely much. Personally i think this a insult to the people who struggle to make a living and just about every average person in the country. Disgrace.
@dephased
A disgrace that players who work their whole lives to become professional footballers earn a lot of money?
Theres a difference between earning alot of money and earning 300k a week. And no they dont work their whole lives, they do their hobby and when they actually get to play for a club they do next to nothing. Some people who work so hard everyday earns 500 pounds a week while this puff earns 300k A Week more than 95 % do in several years.
@man_utd I have answer for you.
@fabryi Well his weekly salary is already more than a fireman or policeman earns a year but its nothing compared to Rooney.
@Dephased: I understand and agree with your point, i used to hate it when Rooney made a fuss about leaving and signed his 200k/week deal. But now, you cant stop it to happen, other players gonna get that too. And at this moment he is MU's soul and best players.
@Dephased - The people who earn 500 a week doing a job that pretty much anyone can do. Rooney has been selected from the best of the best players to get to where he is now. The money he gets per week is insignificant to what United make of shirt sales and match tickets people buy to come and watch him. He does a job which only a handful of players can do so that makes him valuable. If United wanted to sign a player of his quality they would have to pay 50 mil+. So it makes sense to pay him what he deserves. People like Bill Gates make 300,000 in the time it takes to have a a light lunch and he doesn't have to train 5 days a week or run around a field for 90mins chasing a ball in the rain. Just some perspective for you. If you have the talent and have worked for it, I don't see why you shouldn't receive what you've earned..
hahahahaha
@wofie: Are you serious??? What kind of comparison is that??? I agree to a lot of people what Rooney is earning is well deserved (or vice versa), but who earn "500 a week doing a job that pretty much anyone can do"???? and saying that Bill Gates is the lamest thing you can say.
@dephased
I hope you're being serious. And yes, they do work their whole lives for gods sake. Listen. I don't think you understand but we're not talking about the Sunday League Players. We're talking about World-Class players such as the likes of Beckham, Rooney, Ronaldo, Messi, Aguero etc... and many more other mediocre players in the Premier League who still earn about 50,000~70,000k (Which is indeed, a LOT). You think these players don't work hard for their whole lives? I sure as hell don't know what they had to go through to become a footballer but neither do you.
You bring up this point about people working so hard they earn 500 pounds a week. And you call Rooney a "puff" whatever the hell that is, and you almost make it sound like it's his fault. Did Rooney have any impact whatsoever in those people's life who earn 500 pounds a week and their life choices?
I don't think so. And if you look at Arsenal's players to, it looks like the average is about 70,000 pounds a week and I think you're not in any position to say Rooney getting 300k is a disgrace. Why don't you tell that to all the footballers who get 50k plus and not just single out Rooney. This is how football is.
@fabryi
OK. Congratulations for giving me ONE example of a player who doesn't care about money. (OUT OF THE THOUSANDS IN EUROPE. good luck finding more.) But do you think him rejecting a pay raise would make his salary equal to a fireman/police? I don't think so.
The reason I get really angry about this is that you guys single Rooney out about him getting a shit ton of money and make it sound like he doesn't work hard at all. If you actually watch Rooney playing, his work-rate is out of this world and he has been a guiding light for our club this season.
Your move chief.
Well listen here. Those people that are making 500 pounds a week choose to, and don't tell me **** otherwise. They choose to no go to college, the choose to not go to school, they choose not to wake up daily at 4 am, 5 am, and go play soccer. They choose not to work at McDonalds, and Rooney, chooses to play football. He chooses to work hard as a kid, and get rewarded as an adult. Listen, the door is open. I don't care if the door is open, but everyone has a chance to pursue their dreams. You say Rooney's wage is ridiculous? How about the boxing champion Floyd Mayweather? He is 36 and 45-0. Last match alone he made 40 million. He buys the best cars, has the biggest houses, and has the hottest girls, but he went out there like any citizen of America, and made his money the hard way. Rio Ferdinand is a great example. Understand something boy, life doesn't give you chances, you have to make them.

This is a really good video for motivation. These are 14 minutes you will never want back.
Roooney!
Another thing. His wage is still the same as 250k pounds. 300k is a projection of what he might earn from sponsor add-ons. United won't be paying that 50k. It's maybe a new concept and it looks good.
Guys, check this: "Watch Wayne Rooney’s earnings add up in real-time"
