All those goals and no trophies. What a shame.. Ribery won the treble, it should go to him..
P.s - Worst techno music, ever! rom7ooo has really bad taste in music. Actually most guys who make these football vids. Ridiculous! Had to mute.. >_>

I think you have a little difficulty in distinguishing "team awards" from "individual awards". Ribery has done nothing this year to show that he is on either Ronaldo or Messi's caliber. His team have been brilliant, much better than Madrid or Barca, but he himself is still far from being Ronaldo or Messi.

Ribery, best player in Budesliga 12/13 season. Won, Bundesliga, CL and DFB Pokal. Helped France qualify for WC 2014, won club WC and Bayern are top of the Bundesliga this season too. What else does he need to do to win? If he does not win, it will be exactly what happened to Sneijder in 2010..

Exactly my point. You are merely listing the trophies he won with Bayern. Individually, what did he do? Yes, he won the Bundesliga Player of the Year award, but was there really anyone outside of Bayern who was capable of winning it? It had to be down to Schweinsteiger, Ribery, or Lahm. The standout individual accomplishment of Ribery's is the UEFA Player of the Year award, which was justifiably won. He was on fire between February and May. But it's not like Ronaldo wasn't either. Ronaldo smashed home 33 goals in the first half of 2013, and another 34 in the second and shorter half.

Like I said, individually, Ronaldo is not at fault for his team's lack of trophies. It is not his fault Madrid's defense shipped 4 at the Signal Iduna Park. Instead, he did his part by scoring the all-important away goal that gave Madrid enough hope to win 2-0 on the return leg, and almost sprout a comeback. Your suggestion of Ribery winning the award simply on trophies will make any Bayern player a contender for the Ballon d'Or. But that is not how it is won. Ribery or Ronaldo will win depending on their individual performances this season, which does not necessarily involve how many trophies one has won. You can score 69 goals from the left wing in a year and not win a single trophy, or you can score 23 goals from the same position and win almost everything there is. Trophies are a team's accomplishment; goals, assists, and Man of the Match performances are individual.

Bayern could have won the Treble without Schweini or Lahm, but not without Ribery imo. He was the most important player. And this might be his only chance to win it.
So 1: Rib 2: Ron 3: Mess
If Ron plays the same until the end of season and has a good world cup.. He wins it next year for sure..
