The difference imo is that one got straight red by refree decision, others didnt got sent off and for me its a Huge difference...
Anyway in Derbies and traditional rivalries, few players see red because the pressure and the expectations are incredible.
Yellow for Turan is enough, his shoe went far from the linesman...

It's not the fact that he didn't hit him, its the fact that he threw it. He had the intention... Being aggressive towards the officials is far worse than being aggresive against the other team. If it was Ronaldo, we'd see Barcelona fans crying and begging for a 1 year ban or what ever. It should have been a straight red and we all know it. Your hate for Real Madrid and Ronaldo blinds you.

I think Arda should've got a red with 2 matches ban. Ronaldo deserved 3-5 matches. Everyone can be agressive, it's the thing for football but doing the same for 2 or 3 times in a row is not acceptable.

How is it worse to kick a player than to throw a shoe at a linesman tho?

^ Kicking a player with enough force can seriously injure them. I doubt throwing a shoe will do little more than a small cut or bruise, even if it is at an official.

I know, but its the intention... Being aggressive towards an official is much more serious than being aggressive towards another player.

Referee's report about Arda explains that Arda did not do that to the referee but I doubt that.
