Let's be fair, guys. Even if Roman could be hailed as a genuine fan/owner, it doesn't change the fact he's made some simply godawful decisions over the years, which have hurt the club.
Yes, it's nice to point out that he's not JUST a billionaire owner who cares nothing about the club. However, that doesn't change that he's a millionaire owner who has fired /sold half of the people who could have brought his team success.
Even if he's a "Chelsea fan at heart", it doesn't change the outright stupidity he's displayed at times. :p
@Lodatz: To be fair he, has the trophies to back up his case in firing managers. The method may be hated by many (including I and other Chelsea fans), but it works.
" To be fair he, has the trophies to back up his case in firing managers." This is one of the most stupidest thing I have ever heard.
Didn't really know where else to post it, but here you go Chelsea fans! A message from Roman to the fans (a bit late hahaha):
Thank you for everything Roman! One of the most supportive and charitable owners in football (for the club and away from the club too!).
"He'd call me and say 'who are you playing?' I'd say 'the Under-15s are playing Arsenal on Sunday at 3pm'.
"He would come with some guys, watch the game and enjoy it.
"He enjoys very much to go to the FA Youth Cup - he'd go the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the finals. He was always there and would always congratulate us and the staff.
"He was very, very aware about those things and never forgot it. That is something people maybe don't know, but for me that showed he has a big heart for the club."
