I said it on the chat yesterday that this is it he is a gonner and I don't remember who I believe it was Jeffrey_Hazard who thought I was a glory hunter. I'm no glory hunter, I'm blue till' I die but you have to expect this from Roman, Chelsea fans. Bad call in my opinion but I aint arguing with the guy who has got us to the top.

I just wish he gave RDM 2 more months to prove himself...

Does Abramovich not understand that Footy is also based on trust and patience? Matteo was a great manager. He won Chelsea the friggin' Champions league for god's sake! Really irrational thinking from Abramovich.

RA has turned Chelsea into a Disgraceful club. In every aspect. First RA essentially ruins the fabric of modern football with his ridiculous over-spending, mercenary-inducing tactics, and inflation of market wages. Second, he sacks a manager every other year, destabilizing a once respectable club in the process. Thirdly, he treats his players like shit. Like Anelka & Alex before him, Malouda has been forced to train with the youth teams and essentially ostracised from the first team training. Moreover Chelsea greats like Drogba, and now Lampard are being pushed out of the door. Lastly, he isn't good for the image of the club. He stands idly by as controversy after controversy follows the clubs players. But, he couldn't give a damn about any of that. All he cares about is that his vanity team win everything in site... immediately.  No common sense or common decency by the man. I know Chelsea fans feel indebted to him for his raising the clubs status but at what cost may I ask. If it were me, I'd rather be a upper mid-table club with some dignity just like Chelsea used to be.

Feel gutted for RDM. I agree with @raimondo in that he should have walked away when he saw that he wasn't wanted at the end of last season. It didn't matter what he did, was never going to stay in the job. Even if he won the league, RA would still be chasing Pep. What kind of self-respecting manager would want to take this job? Poison chalice.

@Koldimere and Footaholic: I completely agree with you. It is truly disgusting to hear this news that a Blue, a Chelsea legend got the boot. Of all people Mourniho, Carlo, Hiddink... This is the most annoying. I won't be watching Chelsea much for a while. The only interesting thing I want to see is if Rafa can bring back Torres to his Liverpool ways like when they were together in the past. It is a fucking disgrace, and it  makes me disgusted to support Chelsea. But, no matter how soulless our heartless RA is he is trying to do whats best for the team. It is a stupid way to do that by sacking RDM but it was obvious that he was only built to be an interim manager right now. I truly wish Chelsea never fired Mourinho or had a manger like Wenger or Ferguson (more like Wenger). But this is RA we are talking about. Chelsea were on the brink of a financial failure and he came in and saved us. He may ruin the clubs dignity but he is the only one keeping us alive. We can never hate him for that no matter how stupid he sometimes is. He is just trying to do what is best for the club in a stupid way.

Just imagine if a bigger legend like Zola was the manager and he got sacked... I would be in tears...

RA's a disgrace we can do better with out him now!If only we had a rich, sensible owner,RDM deserves a season, after winning the CL he deserves to stay,I was shocked when I heard the damn news, his a legend that will never be forgotten. In the first place actually Jose Mourinho should have stayed!I hope no  managers comes to chelsea so that Roman will learn his lesson but surely people will come....but you cant blame RA only, the board is to be blame too the two guys, bruce buck and ron gourlay, damn i dont know when this will this go on ,dont tell me we are gonna sack managers until Roman dies,im really ashamed

@Trollman & @Spartan: Spoken like TRUE fans who care about the CLUB. much respect. Yes, it is sad that RDM is pretty much a Chelsea great and did so well to save a sinking ship last year but still got done in the end. If that were to happen to Zola I think it might be the straw that broke the camel's back of any decent fan.  As for the board, I'm sure they are also guilty but at the end of the day, they must carry out whims of RA.
I would be surprised if Pep took this job now (especially since City seems to have recruited his old partners in crime). He will always find someone who'll take the job because... well, it has a nice severance package at the end of the day.

Just got this from twitter to lighten up the mood for Chelsea fans:

Jose suffers defeat against City tonight, has a fight with the RM board, Roman brings him to Chelsea, Jose defeats City on Sunday.

That would be so epic if it was actually possible. OH PLEASE COMEBACK SPECIAL ONE!

first Ancelotti (EPL,FA cup,Community shield 2009/10 winner),then Di Matteo (FA cup,CL 2011/12 winner),basically the managers who won all the most recent Chelsea trophies. this is just a shame. with all due respect Chelsea fans,i hope your team will sink from now on for the next years. if Guardiola comes next,i hope he'll fail,Abramovich needs to learn things the hard way,f.ucking douche. but if Guardiola is the serious wise person i believe him to be,then he'll not spoil mr.Abramovich. this prick can burn anyone's career as he doesn't know and doesn't want to learn what football is about.

i agree with footaholic as well, managers need time and owners need patience too bad theres none of that nowadays, now i wished mou came back but its seems unlikely, benitez and grant?i dont think so,pep?i think he wont come because of the previous sackings it makes you scared to be a chelsea manager with a fucking lot of pressure and im sure other managers would feel the same
