Wish he went to Arsenal :P
guess he thought he might be bench man or something
Who said it was his decision? He moved to QPR because Arsenal didn't make an offer, and if they did QPR would have probably offered more money.... remember, (and no offence) Wenger is a bit of a cheapskate.
newcastle offered him a deal aswell
This is, admittedly, from a Tottenham fan's perspective, but... we wanted him in the summer, and the price was 15 million. Now, less than 6 months later, the price is less than 9 million, but we didn't even register an interest.
From Remy's perspective, his 'condition' for us signing him was for Spurs to have CL football. Yet, again, less than 6 months later, he's chosen QPR, over Newcastle (and Arsenal?), and a relegation battle.
A third slashed off the price, but no movement from the club who wanted him specifically less than 6 months ago? A player who was demanded CL football, but now has willingly walked into a relegation scrap instead?
Something tells me there is more to this than we're being told.
Why did he leave? He is crucial for Marseille? Now everybody moves to QPR or Arsenal, stay where you are!
What a waste. He would have done better staying in France.
It's hard not to believe he did it for money. Well at least he has a release clause if QPR get relegated, which I don't think will happen.
marseille striker joins qpr. it will be a boost for their relegation hopes.
