FIFA has ordered that a World Cup qualifier between South Africa and Senegal be replayed after the referee awarded a penalty for a non-existent handball and was banned for life for match manipulation.South Africa scored the penalty and went on to win the qualifier — its only victory so far in the final round of qualifiers in Africa.

Here's the incident. However this looks like a regular EPL referee to me..

Can't really say for sure that a life ban was passed down simply based on this incident alone. Surely it has more to it. FIFA may be run by dimwits but they surely can't be that deluded.

Similar to South East Asian football. The ban was not only due to this incident, but the fraud behind it.

@quikzyyy That some deep stuff right here. Feel bad for the ref but if he accepted money from a betting firm, he kinda ask for it. :(
