Redemption for Bendtner?

Arsene Wenger stated that Bendtner has been showing willingness and maturity in training sessions since the start of the season. He also claimed that Bendtner can reach his real potential over this season. Is this a new start for our troubled-Jaime Lannister-look alike Dane? I only wish Wenger gave Vela this sort of chance. Opinions?

I really respect AW but I think he was smoking something
"I think our fans have a positive attitude towards Bendtner and they will be behind him"
"He's an intelligent player"
"unstoppable striker"

I'm not sure if we're talking about same Bendtner as AW

Wenger knows best, so if he says bendtner can do well I believe him. I'd like to remind you quikzyyy how not even a season ago you were so mad at wenger for keeping ramsey. Looks like you can't learn from your mistakes.

About Bendtner, I think Wenger kept him because we couldn't get a striker before the end of the window. I don't think he has a future at arsenal. I think Wenger is giving him motivation because even if we don't keep him in the end, if he can score a few goals this season it can only be for the better.
