I'll try one for Porto:
Helton 6: Generally covered the goal safely throughout the season, however, unfortunately fails too often when it matters the most (PSG/Benfica).
Danilo 5: Weak season from Danilo, although he improved slightly at the end of the season. Too many error passes and terrible crosses.
Maicon 6: Haven't been able to deliver on the level that he managed to stabilize last season. Struggled with injuries.
Mangala 9: Really shown off this year and has now been rewarded by being called up to France's A-team.
Otamendi 6: Decent season with some brilliant games and some weaker.
Alex Sandro 9: Who needs Alvaro Pereira? This guy is amazing on the left-back. Possesses wonderful technique, speed and endurance.
Fernando 8: His best season with us? Has proven time and again as vital to our defense, and when he speeds up in the field, it's nothing but fantastic to watch.
Castro 6: Not too much playing time, but he does well every time he gets thrown onto the pitch.
João Moutinho 10: Our best this season. The period Moutinho was injured we lost points in several matches and were sent out of the CL. Magnificently stable throughout the season.
González 7: Missed some more creativity from him at times, but he works well and has a few important goals.
Defour 5: Okay, no more, no less. Got us out of the CL, but has been fairly decent in the league.
James Rodríguez 8: Started the season very well, but was injured early in the New Year. After that he's generally been decent, with the exception of a few fabulous games. Was the one who produced the most in autumn.
Varela 6: Has been plagued by injuries and poor form throughout the season, but his last 3-4 matches have been great.
Atsu 6: Expected a bit more of him after his brilliant pre-season. Too inefficient.
Kelvin 8: Hasn't played too much, but he's the man behind the most important goals scored this season.
Izmailov 5: Didn't contribute anything other than additional width.
Liedson 5: Got exactly the role he was supposed to have. Backup behind Jackson and played very little. Still, he stood for the season's most important assist.
Jackson Martínez 9: Fantastic debut season. His touch and passing has been frustrating at times, but his ability to keep the ball and the way he has just tapped in goals has been wonderful. Slightly more efficiency next season and he finds himself above the 30 mark.
Well, this turned into an active thread. >.>
Cech (9): Been amazing yet again this season but has made a bit of foolish mistakes this season.
Azpi (8): One of our most consistent players this season. Made some foolish mistakes that badly cost us and does need to improve his crosses.
Cahill (9): Has been a breath of fresh air for the defense this season and has really proven himself this season.
Iva (9): Same as Cahill. Not to mention he is dangerous in the EPL when upfront.
Mikel (6.5): No improvements and he can slow down a play because of his slow reactions. Yet still, he is our only ACTUAL defensive pivot player.
Luiz (9): During the start of the season he was an error prone, clumsy defender. When transitioned to DM he became a whole different Luiz. I am excited to see what Mou has in plan for him :D
Lampard (10): This man has lifted our team alone in over 10 games, he scored over 20 goals this season, and is our most lethal holding midfielder. All hail King Lampard <3
Ramires (7.5): Inconsitent (A LOT) but when not... Well your team has probably known what it's like by now ;)
Moses (7): Not so impactful in the EPL, but he was great in the Europa. Adds a dose of defense to our frail wings. I'm sorry, Hazard just can't defend well :/. Mostly used as a sub really.
Oscar (7): After his huge impact in the start of the season he started to fade away. He still put in some MOTM performances in many games though and is a pivotal cog in the deadly gang 'Mazacar'.
Mata (10): Our heart this season. Our puppet master. Our playmaker. Our assister. Our everything! This is the man who usually leads us to our goals. Dangerous at taking set pieces too!
Ba (6.5): Not the same person he was at Newcastle :/. He didn't make the impact we wanted but still helped out on multiple occasions.
Torres (8): He's back. He's not back. He's back. He's not back. He's back. He's not back. HE'S (HALF)BACK HAHAHA!
USUALLY NOT STARTED PLAYERS:
Benayoun (5): I don't see why we used him instead of Marin... added nothing and was a waste of a sub.
Ake (?): Didn't really have enough apps to give himself an overall rating.
Marin (?): Does he even exist?
Terry (7): Isn't his old self anymore. Tick tock Terry :(
Turnbull (4): When Cech was injured he had to step in. What a nightmare that was.
Paulo (10): We'll miss you Paulo :'(
Nice one, V. Loved that you put 10 on Paulo. :) He'll be missed indeed. Though, where's Cole and Hazard?
Damn this sucks big balls. I just wasted 1/2 of hour putting together and typing out my player rankings and when I pressed "say it" it froze and I lost it all....
@Vendetta: "give all the players a 10!!!!"
Dude, that's sad. :'/ Always remember to copy your text when you've written a lot. Would be interesting to see an Arsenal fan's player ratings this season.
Oh man I forgot to rate Cole and Hazard. Well Cole gets a 9 and so does Hazard.
@Foota: They deserve the high rating ;)
Cazorla (9): Player of the Season; Our most dynamic/skillful player has done as well as I expected; only con is that he can slip out of a game every once in a while
Walcott (8.5): Our top Goalscorer & Assister; picked up a lot of the slack left behind by RVP; our greatest counterattacking weapon; is truly growing into a big player (shooting accuracy & decision making have improved drastically); con = not as effective against teams that sit back
Koscielny (8): simply, the BOSS. Had to bide his time as Wenger was reluctant to drop our Captain earlier this season; when the **** hit the fan, Wenger uncharacteristically decided to grow a pair and play Kosc instead; this decision helped changed our season; Laurent has been our best defender since; not only has he helped cover up for Per's lack of pace but he has excelled in every department; to top it off he clinched us CL with a clutch goal in our final match for the second season running; Bayern, KEEP YOU HANDS OFF!
Wilshere (8): Some of you may feel I'm being a bit sentimental here, but I would argue you have short memories. After coming back from an 18-month layoff, it took Jack a whole 2 games before he was our best player again (even better than Cazorla); his tenacity, skill, and sheer energy single-handedly pulled the team through a few games; then he got crocked... Again. Despite this, he was always ready to take a cortisone shot & come in for an emergency situation. Hopefully his surgery to remove the pins from his ankle this summer will help his mobility and reduce the recurrence of any inflmattion/pain. England & arsenal fans will be hoping so.
Arteta (7.5): Easily our most underrated player. Due to Wenger's shortsightedness, Mikel has had to plug the gap in our midfield; despite playing a position that is not his own, he has managed to excell; he makes up for his lack of strength/pace with his ability to read the game, time his interventions, and provide the distribution to initiate attacks; his greatest contributions however have been in helping ensure the team keeps its shape and being a leader on & off the pitch; he is our defacto captain and all the players respect him
Gibbs (7.5): Our Glassman has been immense this season. His defending has been great and his pace and eagerness to find strikers has been vital when we've counterattacked. The biggest compliment to him though is the fact that most of our opponents have had more success attacking our right flank. I expect if he remains fit to challenge Baines for England's LB spot in the future.
Rosicky (7): Arsenal fans love the diminutive Czech, and for good reason. Despite being injured for a good chunk of the season, he has been vital to our successful late run. The key with him is that he is always looking to drive forwards and slide through strikers whilst our other midfielder are often guilty of aimlessly passing back and forth to each other without creating any forward momentum. His last 2 matches have been medicore but I still think he's been important for us since Wilshere's been crocked.
Mertesacker (7): much maligned by pundits and some fans, the BFG has been our most intelligent defender; it is true that he is SO Slow, but his timing and positioning provide something our CBs lack. All season he has been the constant in the back as Kosc & Verm are too similar to play with each other. He is the wise head that ensures the discipline that had made his CB pairing with Kosc the best in the league for the past few months
Ramsey (6.5): Earlier in the season, for some typically insane reason, Wenger played him as a winger where he was completely out of his depth. It looked like he was going to continue his poor run of form form the season prior until he was given a chance to actually... play in his position... without having to be the one to fill in a big Cesc-shaped whole. Since then he has been vital to our team. His workrate and energy is surpassed by noone else in the squad, not even Wilshere. In our great end of season run he has helped an older & weaker midfield cope and has been increasingly influential in the build up play and tracking back that have saved us so often. I hope he continues to progress and that we see him mature into the player Arsene believes he can be. He reminds me of a Ray Parlour. If he can even be half as influential the Ray, he'll have done very well.
Giroud (6.5): For his first season, he hasn't been bad. He's been good at holding up play and setting up chances for others. He also always puts in a shift and puts high pressure up front (unlike the other forwards). That said, he clearly needs to work on his finishing & movement. He's not very quick but he is very tidy for a big man and would do better IMO if he played in a 442.
The Ox (6.5): I think almost everytime I've seen the Ox play this year he's been exciting and adds a different dynamic to the team. His insistence at running at defenders, positivity, and skill have been a breadth of fresh air to what has too often been stale and predictable team performances. Not given enough time IMO but hopefully next year he'll be more important.
Jenkinson (6.5): Another good young player who hasn't gotten to play too often. When he has played though he's been a success. He's still raw but he has been our most improved player this season. His pace and crossing are very good. He has better his defensive focus but needs more work on his positioning. I feel he'll be 1st choice RB next season.
Szczesney (6): had an up&down season. Was poor earlier (~4) until he was reintroduced to the team after Fabianski picked up an injury. He has then made some crucial saves for us and been much more consistent. IMO, he is a promsiing young keeper than would do well to learn from a WC older keeper.
Fabianski (6): wasn't spectacular but did a good job when asked. No crazy mistakes etc
Podolski (6): I was going to give Poldi a 5.5 but I thought that was harsh as he has helped contribute to our weak offence and has been unfit for a good chunk of the season. I feel he has a lot more to offer and hopefully this summer he gets his ankle sorted and the rest/fitness to excel next season.
Nacho (5.5): Hailed as Spain 2nd choice LB with good old-school defensive talent, I expected a lot from him when he came in January. Instead, he's been pretty bang average. Of course, he's only had 1/2 season in England to adapt so hopefully he'll push Gibbs more next season.
Vermaelen (4): Bad season for the "verminator". Was sloppy and ill-dsiciplined for most of the earlier campaign and didn't seem to have the same mental focus. Went from arugably our most talented defender to not starting a game in 3 months. IMO, I think Wenger should try to play him as a CDM. Much like David Luiz, I think he'd excell there as he has pace, strength, and ability on the ball.
Gervinho (4): I was going to give him a 3.5 but I know everyone is going to talk about his stats, etc. IMO, he isn't good enough. has the work ethic and the feet, but not the brain. Won't cut it.
Sagna (3.5): MOST DISAPPOINTING PLAYER OF THE SEASON. That may seem a bit harsh given that he had 2 diferent leg breaks last year... but even when he returned at the end of last year he wasn't this bad. This man went from being one of the best RBs in Europe to an absolute liability. He's been caught out countless times, his crossing is the poorest I've ever seen, and his decision making has been slow. I'm not sure if he just the hump because we weren't offering more than a 1-year contract extension but his mind just didn't seem as focused. Sad, he was our most consistent defender in the past 5 years.
Santos (0): Worst player of the season. I don't really need to explain this one.

Hart 6 - not his best season, this season. Some decent performances like against Dortmund in UCL group stage.
Zabaleta 7 - Had some decent performances this season, scoring some vital goals, but weak in some games. Made unnecessary tackles such as the red card in FA cup final against wigan.
Kompany 5.5 - Really poor this season, didn't make much of an impact, scored a few goals and needs to improve.
Nastasic 7 - Decent debut season, hopefully he improves next season.
Clichy 6 - Not a good season for clichy, made some dangerous runs and crosses, needs to step up his game.
Yaya Toure 7.5 - Good performances, scored vital goals, but invisible in some games.
Garcia 5 - Waste of money by Mancini, useless buy and didn't make a good impact to our mid-field.
Milner 6.5 - Not his greatest of season, but good at right wing, scored a few key goals.
Silva 4 - Absolute terrible season for David Silva, expected more from him.
Nasri 5 - Not a good season for him, showed some good performances.
Aguero 8 - Not as good as last season but scored vital goals to keep our season alive.
Tevez 7.5 - He is a great striker but doesn't take chances clinically. Good season for him.
This is a thread where you give each player on your club (or just the ones you want to) ratings from 1-10, based on their overall performance this season. Feel free to provide a description of why you give them the ratings you do.
